Recieved the item in time. Everything as described in the package. The earphones sound very good. Seems like it needs some breakin in period, I just put them on play for hours till player battery gone out, after couple days sound improved. As mentioned by others cable is a bit tangly, but nothing major, all cables are more or less like to tangle. Only issue maybe is comfort in the sense they are heavy because metal and bulky because need to fit all that tech inside, anyways probably just need to get used to it since coming from headphones and small plastic/light earphones. At any rate the iportant is that they work and sound good for the money. Other good thing is and I specificaly wanted this is they are open-back so when running or cycling I can still hear what is going around me and others speak when volume is low enough and you do not press them deep in the ear canal. Open-back also means you get that soundstage effct like the music is coming from around you insted of in your head which is nicer IMO. Another good thing is the L shaped jack that prevents strain on the connector of the player. I would recomend this product to people wanting an earphone with the above mentioned caracteristics.

I should say upfront, i purchased the nex-202 on the 11.11 sales on Aliexpress which was £25... BUT... had i paid the £55 asking price here on Amazon I wouldn't review it any differently. At £50 it still an excellent IEM. Did i need another earphone to add to my collection of around 100 earphones... probably not, but i love the hobby. I've sets from the budget to over £200 with my preference in the sub £100 or Chi-Fi market.
To the NEX-202.
Build - Surprisingly light... like very light. But like their other sets beautifully built and they look solid enough with the titanium shell. Comes with an excellent cable too.
Sound
Overall - Balanced, close to neutral... but in a fun way
BASS - Bass is exceptional at the price point (£50). It's quick, detailed, woofer like and has an accurate tone. It never bleeds into any other frequency and can slam when required. Midbass gives synths a lovely pop and can travel about the head at ease. Sub-bass can go low and even tho it still retains that airy nature, it can rumble when needed.
MIDS - Bright and detailed. They retain a slight smoothness and warmth so they never become analytical or boring. Vocals are articulate, could occasionally be dry, but they have enough weight to shine, sitting ever so slightly forward... but they don't dominate, they instead blend in naturally with the rest of the instrumentation. Instruments sound accurate and micro detail is very good at the price. I've more expensive sets that don't reveal some of the sounds I'm hearing at times... and they're not distant, they're relatively clear. Sometimes sets that are detailed you can hear the extra information in the song, but it's a bit feint and only gives you an inkling to it being there. Don't get me wrong though, it's not going to rival more expensive sets like the KXXS, Fioanl e4000, Dunu Dn 2000 and other I have. Guitars have crunch and pianos sound nice.
Treble - There is a slight emphasis on the upper mids and lower treble which is just at the threshold of what i can take as I'm treble sensitive, very occasionally sounding a wee bit harsh on more shouty vocalists. It's not a constant though, mainly on songs that are well known for it, even with other brighter sets. But like i say, it gives the 202 a crisp, lively and clear sound. Cymbals, violas, strings... they benefit from the extension up top.
Soundstage - in a word... excellent. Not the widest, but it has great depth and positional awareness all round the headspace is just plain fun to listen to. The airy nature gives them good separation and instruments and vocalists have the right amount of distance from each other. Synth notes pop all over the head delightfully.
Negatives - At first i heard a bit of dryness in the vocals, which was immediately helped by changing to SpinFits. i have small ears though and struggle with a lot of tips. They come with three sets of foam tips which is a bonus. The brightness at times for me can be a tiny bit much, but it's made better with the bass and lower mids having good weight and warmth. Dare I say I first thought it was a more V-Shaped signature (bass and treble emphasised over mids) but after a while, i hear balance. It plays music as intended.
Conclusion - What you're getting here is a lovely built earphone with very good sound, can do justice to many genres, doesn't get congested with songs with a lot of instruments or harmonies and has a lovely super accurate bass response. It's a detailed signature and has just the right amount of brightness.
I'm so glad i give them a chance and more surprised that they sound so much better than the costly nex-602... which hopefully they've reworked to sound better.
UPDATE : There is definitely a little sharpness in the vocals at times with certain singers and music. This can bring sibilance which at times can be fatiguing. I found changing to Comply Foams completely alleviated this with the main change being some roundness to the mids and a small amount of definition being lost... which I find happens with most foam tips. It brought the sound more in line with the QT5 but still with better overall detail and tighter bass.I also though found changing between my FIIO M6 and to my SABAJ DA3 also helped alleviate the sibilance so source could play a big part on this. The DA3 is more V-shaped with a bigger bass emphasis than the M6 so this added warmth could be the reason behind that.

Well, having listened to the Revonext flagship the hybrid NEX-602 and being VERY let down i was a little bit apprehensive buying the NEX-202. I had enjoyed and rated the brand up until my experience with the 602, I really like the RX8, RX8S, QT5 and QT2S. All great value, good sound and excellent build, especially the QT5.
