Velvet has works at Indigo, the strip club owned by Storm MC and has been friends with Nash for 4 years. She is divorced from a violent man, James. She loves her job and although Nash has flirted, she denies him and has made their friendship stronger!
Nash is hot, sexy, gorgeous and has musles to dream over... He has his pick of women and boy does he!, he never turns them down, like... EVER!... Until something happens and changes his life and direction... Forever!!!
Velvet helps hime come to terms with what his ex wife done to him and supports him with the guilt he still carries over the death if his son. He hasn't opened up to anyone about his past, until Velvet!!!
This is a lovely story and really touching with how Nina has written with tenderness of the whole situation of losing a child. You could also feel the love changing between Nash and Velvet from one of friendship to one of pure sexual lust and love. The sex between these two is totally off the chart hot and i loved the characters and the banter they share!!!

I for one have always loved Nash Walker's character. His flirting, humour and genuine love for his biker family shines through in previous books. But I've been curious as to what drove him to drink and sleep through women at the rate I drink coffee!
Nash Walker appears to be a confident, cocky, carefree playboy but inside he's a cyclone of anger, insecurity, guilt and hurt. Velvet, a stripper at Indigo and the woman who he's been friends with for four years sees another damaged soul and wants to help him heal. She has her own past which makes her guard her heart as much as Nash does, betrayal, lies and doubt from vicious Ex husbands can do that to a woman. They find solace in friendship, an easiness that is a rarity to find.
One night changes all that, can two people with so much hurt and pain let their hearts be revived by each other or will the demons of their pasts keep them apart??
Nina gives us all the details of Nash's history and what a life he has lead, I felt for what he'd had to deal with and understood why he guarded his heart so well. This book focuses on acceptance and forgiveness " your largest fear carries your greatest growth" this applies to Nash and Velvet. Both are capable of love and deserve to be loved their only obstacle is their insecurities, doubt and guilt.
This book also has the brewing tension of Marcus and the club which culminates in the mother of all revelations at the end. Storm MC will never be the same again and left me reeling with thoughts on Griff, Kick and Wilder!!!! Nina how could you do that to us!!
I adored this book and my only complaint was that it ended!! A five star ride from start to finish roll on October with Blade's story Slay.
A manwhore with a big soft heart beneath his sexy rough exterior.
Nash's backstory was sad and all he needed was the right woman to come along to get him through it.
Velvet is a straight talking woman with a history of her own that has made her a strong independent woman with a determination never to be ruled by a man again, well until the right man came along and then theres still give and take. I loved Velvets character.
Velvet : Time slowed and my whole world became Nash in that moment. I saw only him, heard only him. He was asking me for everything and I was going to give it to him.
Not only do you get a good plot with Revive in good Nina Levine style you get an alpha male, hot intense action, swoon worthy moments, drama, angst and MC business in the mix.
An all rounder MC read that hits the spot.
The characters in this series are great, lovable and I like the fact that club business is in the background to the love lives of each character and it continues in the next book should you want to catch up with what's going down in The Storm MC and I certainly do.
Another one bites the dust and another great read from Nina Levine.
