Top Customer Reviews

Format: Paperback
In revising for my GCSEs (my mocks, in fact, at the moment), this book has been extremely useful.

It has an extremely clear style, and lays out in an easy format exactly what you need to know for your exam. The worked answers are (while in some cases quite amusing) helpful in understanding what an examiner is looking for. The book is a very handy revision guide, and I heartily recommend it.

However, it does not get the final star because (although this is perhaps unavoidable) the book does not give particularly thorough information. Particularly in some areas of the 'German Depth Study' section, it lacks a certain level of detail, although it must be remembered that this resource is a 'revision guide' rather than a full 'textbook', and so this is not a major issue.

Overall - buy now, you won't go wrong!

I bought this for my daughter as she revised for her GCSEs this summer. She found the book easy to follow and felt that it contained enough detail on all of the topics that she needed it to cover. The language used was clear and easy to follow and she felt that it gave her added confidence so that she felt well prepared when she went into the exam.
