I don’t even know where to begin with this review.

On one hand I felt sorry for Nina because she is still struggling with dealing with her wealth. She feels like she is on the outside looking in on all the social groups. Too rich to mingle with the normal people but ostracised from the rich set because it is common knowledge that she is Devin’s mistress. The rich set are all Team Elaine and she blames Nina for her marriage being the way it is despite knowing the real reason she married Devin.

Then I felt happy that Nina had met Aiden. He was the cool dude who played in a band and ran a bar. He bowled her over with his caring nature. He tried to please her and treat her right.

But then Devin is still lurking in the background throwing spanners in the works. He wants the land, but he also wants Nina. Does he want her because of her relationship with Aiden? Or is he manipulating her to get the land? Does he genuinely care for Nina?

Nina can’t resist Devin despite feeling strong at times and basically telling him to pee off….but then she has her relapses. Aiden knows her heart is still pining for Devin yet he is all understanding about it.

This book is told in alternate POV’s and for the first time we get inside Devin’s head. How he grew to loath his wife and how he grew to love Nina. Trouble is, he spent the whole of book one being an arrogant ar-se that she would be far better sticking with Aiden than going back to Devin.

The sex is explosive in this book. One thing you can guarantee with a Ms Chase book is that the sex will be hot. There was oral, there was bum play, there was restraints and even breath play with a belt. Nina just couldn’t get enough.

This book opens from Devin's POV which I LOVE, nothing beats a male or dual pov book. It makes things interesting to see into both the Hero and Heroines eyes, and I silently squealed with excitement over how good I knew book two was going to be because of this.

Immediately even though it was suspected in book one, we see that Devin's relationship with his wife Eileen is not all as it seems. We get glimpses of Devin's hatred towards her but cant quite figure out why.

Nina in the meantime is still trying to move on from Devin. He is missing her but due to his wife's hold over him he cannot have her. Frustrated with all this Devin tries to reach out to Nina but Nina and Aiden are progressing further and we come to the end of book two with a big stand off between the two men. Aiden claims he is done with Nina, she is utterly broken by this but can't just stop loving Devin either. We end with Devin coming to see her.

I think I loved this book more than book one. Mainly its because I got to hear what Devin was thinking which really made the book in my eyes. I was totally stuck between both guys. I thought each one was fab in certain ways and I was torn between them both. Devin more so had my heart but it was a close contest.

Arc given in exchange for an honest review.

Unlike book one, which was told completely in Nina's point of view, this one is also told from Devin's perspective and as I predicted, he isn't necessarily the man he's made out to be. It is clear that his behaviour towards Nina is fueled by some kind of hold his wife has over him.

In this book, which again probably took around two hours to read, Nina wonders if there's a connection between Devin and Aiden and lots more of the puzzle is revealed. It centres more around the question, Who is Aiden?

Just like Nina, I found myself wondering who she actually could and couldn't trust.

As with the first book, the sex is highly erotic, Nina is even more sex crazed than ever and I'm pretty sure I've never read a book where the character has had such a voracious sexual appetite.

Despite my initial lack of preference for either guy, I found myself gradually moving towards Devin and hoping that he would be the one to finally end up with Nina, although Aiden, for me wouldn't have been a particularly bad choice either.

Once again this book left me wanting more with no option but to dive straight into the third book.
