If you're into catchy tunes about the trials and trivialations of love and all the baggage that comes with it, this is the album for you. Dr Frank, also referred to as the Noel Coward of music, writes wittingly about all angles of love as though it was a tetrahedron, mixing it up with an energetic rush of melody, and catchy riffs. You'll go through the motions with Frank and the gang with this album, if it doesn't make you laugh it'll make you cry!

5.0 out of 5 stars Welcome To East Bay Punk 101 27 May 2013
By Damien Margo - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Congratulations! You just found The Mr. T Experience.

This is an infectious pop punk band centered around Dr. Frank. If you are looking for highly addictive East Bay style punk tunes look no further! I'm not sure it gets any better than this. Maybe Kim Shattuck.

These tunes are one gem after another, and I find myself listening to this album (and other MTX albums) over and over and over again. Even being a fan of Jawbreaker, Tilt, Green Day, and The Muffs I find the work of MTX oddly rises to the very top of my favorites list. This album is so good it almost gets better with time. I am a sucker for the pop element that is so pervasive in the music of MTX. Bait, Line, and Sinker.

5.0 out of 5 stars They keep getting better... 8 July 1998

The music behind the brilliant lyrics has progessively gotten cleaner. Now it sounds so close to perfection that MTX must be peaking.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect from start to finish 19 Dec. 1998

As soon as you pop this one in the cd player you'll be humming along with every song. The lyrics are simple, yet effective. The songs just flow together pretty well too. Too bad the cover art (well the photo) sucks, but I can look past that for such a great album. This latest version of MTX rocks! My favorites include- "Lawnmower of Love", "Love is Dead" (reminds me of a previous relationship) and "Swiss Army Girlfriend".
5.0 out of 5 stars Every Song Worth Listening To 8 May 1999
By Andrew T (AST02@hotmail.com) - Published on Amazon.com

Why can't I write lyrics like these? MTX is at their best with more great pop-punk melodies backed by solid, yet never overbearing, guitar, bass, and drums. Dr. Frank, Joel, and Jym are a blast live and I highly reccommend catching a show if they come anywhere near you.
Best song on the album? - The Weather Is Here, Wish You Were Beautiful
You'll have all the words memorized in no time!
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully sweet, they keep getting better and better 2 Jan. 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
I am a big fan of MTX and their songs about girls. As usual, this album comes through with well written lyrics and a beat that will have you singing along and in the shower. I especially loved hearing Dr. Frank's beautiful voice on "I don't need you now." Could there be a more sweet and truthful band than them? If you haven't listened to them yet, you need to, and soon!
