About the Author
The authors, Fiona Elliott and Janet Rider, are both established retail consultants with extensive experience in buying and merchandising. Between them they have worked for a wide range of companies including well-known retail chains such as Habitat, Owen Owen, British Home Stores, and Co-operative Retail Services as well as a number of smaller specialist companies. Both are frequent visiting presenters at BSSA specialist buying courses.

This is a great introduction to the art of purchasing.Covering areas such as Planning a budget,structuring the merchandise,developing product and brands,sourcing,presenting and improving overall buying performance.An easy to grasp piece of literature with insightful case studies.A must for anyone with a vested interest in this area.Recommended to experienced purchasers also.Great value
