Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity's final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began - Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between regaining her superhuman abilities at Wesker's hand and Umbrella's impending attack, this will be Alice's most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

The film itself is what is is ... a zombie movie so you probably won't be watching it for the acting.
The stunts/fights are good *****
The SFX are good *****
The storyline is good *****
Ever Anderson playing the Red Queen was an inspired piece of casting (considering one of the plot twists) ... as the saying goes she is a 'chip off the old block' and I have no doubt that she will feature on the cover of Vogue in the future (following in her Mum's/Milla's footsteps)
Prefer Eoin Macken with his Irish accent.
Not bad. The negative reviews had me expecting it to be worse. It's an action film, it's what they've always been. I can't fault the ending.
What happened to Ada Wong & Leon, the last two remaining survivors from the last one though? and Jill? And Claire's brother Chris Redfield?
Even though it is titled "The Final Chapter" the end clearly leave it open for yet another sequel (although perhaps it has run its course and there shouldn't be).
This is region specific,
I am curious as to why production companies in this day and age try to limit your ability to buy movies. if you are looking at the 3d version you already know it was not released in the US ( and when or if it is it will be for more money) be aware that the Ultra violet copy is also region specific. I suggest buying the bare bones version with as little as possible instead of purchasing a multi format so you don't have to mess with it.
