Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity's final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began - Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between regaining her superhuman abilities at Wesker's hand and Umbrella's impending attack, this will be Alice's most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Milla provides her usual on screen performance with some great fight scenes. It is an action film with the occasional jump but it does lack that intensity that early resident evils brought. That being said, it was a good watch, especially with the rent offer on Prime. There is more of a human element in this film than pure monster fighting seen earlier in the series.
If you like Resident Evil then it is definitely worth a watch since it completes the series but earlier films were better. Ultimately it is a zombie film and it is good at that.

The story is good enough, the acting is fine, as you'd expect from a Resi film, Milla Jovovich and Ian Glenn (Dr Issacs,) stand out in particular, in my opinion, with good performances from Shawn Roberts (Albert Wesker,) and Ali Larter (Clair Redfield,)
This one I won't watch again, once was enough.
It doesn't stop there either, many films are guilty of over editing their fight scenes to cover up for bad choreography but this movie over edits simple conversation, perhaps to try and distract you from the fan fiction like plot.
Glad this is the final chapter, maybe we might now get the resident evil film that fans actually deserve.
Anderson successfully trashed what could have been the greatest crossover movie ever made with AVP and now has managed to ruin one of my favorite childhood games. Whats next for him? I hope retirement.
I saw the female star, Milica Bogdanovna Jovovicin in a cafe on Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, NYC, NY, USA footsteps from Columbia University's main gates. Her eyes were lavender. She was hot. She is hot.
She is a beauty in person. I am old enough to be her dad. She was with some hairy legged man so I did not speak to her.
It was her loss as well as mine.
