      Theres not much to fault with this camera but the one feature I can’t live with is the “letter box” view and so it’s been returned. The 180 degree view is just too narrow for me. Of course that’s the price you pay for having such a wide view but I would rather have two cameras to view such an area or Reolinks Duo camera which is the same twin lens system but lets you view each side separately or stitched together when you turn your viewing device to landscape. Apart from that, this is a great camera. The colour night-view works very well as does the detection, in fact the detection is probably the best of all the Reolink cameras of which I have many. There are very few false alerts that are recorded so basically you see / record just what you want or need recording. To explain that a little better, with the other Reolinks you can get a lot of recordings of night insects or rain etc. With this camera I didn’t experience a single false recording of that sort which made me think it can’t see jack at night. But then one night I had a recording and when viewed it had picked up a hedgehog trotting across the drive at approx 7 metres away, something that the other cameras wouldn’t pick up. So, a great deal of positives but just that letter box view did it for me.

      This is a rewrite of my original reviews.

      Firstly let me say that Reolink customer service have been absolutely fantastic and couldn't help more, if you're unsure of Reolink products then Sandy and the rest of the Customer service team are a reason to give them a go. I have over a dozen Reolink cameras over several properties and on the whole they are performing exactly as expected.........Reolink customer service 5*

      Unfortunately this Argus 4 pro whilst a fantastic camera, really easy to put up and really easy to link to view on my phone or tablet has a problem.

      It charges well, records when it's supposed to, has unbelievable night time images (just like day) and clear images......kind of.... Let me explain.

      The Argus 4 pro charges by solar and surprisingly it does a really good job keeping the battery topped up even in dreary grey UK winter days. The problem arises from the cable from the solar panel goes into the camera on the back through a port thats then unsealed when the panel fitted. Due to my camera looking down this means that the normal flow of water follows the cable into the camera. This has caused damp and moisture into the camera itself fogging the left hand facing lens (right lens as you view the image) exactly Infront of where the cable goes in. This obviously means that half of the image is blurred. If the camera is left to dry out and the camera used with the solar panel not fitted it works fine but obviously then it doesn't charge.

      If the input was in the bottom of the camera so the water dropped away from the port this would help or if the input was better sealed. Reolink have confirmed that this is a problem in some of the cameras from this model but not all. It's a real shame as it spoils the use of camera that would otherwise be fantastic.

      If you were able to position this camera so you could plug in the solar when it's sunny/bright and unplug it when it's wet/raining then this camera would be a dream but unfortunately that wasn't an option for me so Reolink refunded me in full for this camera.

      I ordered 3 cameras. everything was fine but once I put it outside, we got detached house so 3 cameras but after a day the battery was dead and because we are living in UK sunlight is after 3/4 days or 2/3 weeks in winter so they never charge with solar panels it didn’t work for uk. it’s too much panoramic view and not in height. I’m returning it.

      Initially this camera was OK - though I don't like the fact it doesn't support continuous recording. It's a very wide area, and the image is good.. though it's stopped charging (camera is outside and would very much be exposed to rain etc), and it's now not charging at all.

      I'd have expected it to last in the elements a little longer than this, possibly even 2 years or so.. even considering it's England & it's usually quite wet.

      The stitching of the two cameras doesn't afford a perfect panorama however, with trim adjustment effective within a limited range once set.

      The camera does fog badly though during cold dewy nights and mornings, often to the point that you can't actually see anything at-all.

      Sehr gute Kamera mit großem Blickwinkel. In unseren Breiten ist das Solarpanel 6 Watt nicht in der Lage den Akku auf einem brauchbaren Ladezustand zu halten. Die Cam fällt daher öfter aus.
      Der REOLINK Service hat sofort reagiert und ein 12 Watt Solarpanel kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Jetzt (Mitte Februar) ist der Ladezustand des Akkus bei ca 80%.
