Great follow up to 'On the impossible past'. This album is strong from the start with some really stand out tracks - e.g. rodent, in remission. If you enjoyed their previous albums then definitely give this one a go.

A fantastic album that, in my opinion, surpasses On The Impossible Past as The Menzinger's best album yet! I would recommend it!

4.0 out of 5 stars While the album is good, it only has a few really great songs 25 Aug. 2014

While the album is good, it only has a few really great songs. Their previous album (On the Impossible Past) is better. It seems like a step back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible 21 Sept. 2014
By Jeremiah L. Olson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This is a phenomenal album. I have been a fan of the Menzingers for several years now. I started listening to them about the same time I started listening to the Polar Bear CLub. While I believe Polar Bear Club has taken a step back with their latest release, The Menzingers have surpassed any of their previous releases. This is an awesome mix of heavier tunes with heartfelt songs. Honestly some of the songs are kind of depressing but they are still worth listening to. Listening to the lyrics closely makes me wonder if their was a significant lifestyle change in one of the member's life (breakup, sobriety, etc.). My favorite songs are "I don't want to be an a$$hole anymore" and "Transient Love." It is a solid album from beginning to end and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed the Menzingers in the past and for anyone who likes a good mix of rock styles in one album.
