The book promotes personalising your diet, fitness and lifestyle and Leanne is bang on with this approach. One size does NOT fit all and trying to work out what diet and exercise work for you is a minefield (and a costly one at that!).
Fortunately, there are solutions to finding out what will work for you - Leanne is involved at the cutting edge of highly personalised testing and after reading this book you will want to jump right in and book a session with her! I have used many of her approaches and THEY WORK.
Buy this book if you are fed up with trying different diets or are not sure what exercise would really get you the results you want.
Leanne is highly respected in her field and humble with it..... Grab a copy of this book and get personalising the body you deserve,
The whole premise of the book is to "Remove the Guesswork" so it comes as no surprise that the bottom line recommendation is to get various tests done and to consult with an expert to identify your own very personal nutrition and exercise programme. But there is also some good advice for positive next steps you can take without spending money on testing.
All in all a well written and informative book, written by someone who is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. Well worth reading.
We are all different in our genetic and physiological makeup so I particularly appreciated the detail on the scientific background to these techniques. In every field we are moving away from the 20th century 'one-size-fits-all' mass production to the personalisation and customisation made possible by 21st century technology. This is a as true in personal fitness as in anything. It is not just for elite athletes Leanne shows how we can all benefit from these advances and make a difference to our lifelong health and fitness.
