The Remington R7130 Comfort 360 Rotary Shaver boasts innovative Flex and Pivot Technology which carefully follows the contours of your skin, sculpting around your face for a smooth, dry shave. It has super hard-wearing titanium and Teflon-coated blades and a smart digital display for a sleek shaver that will leave your skin fuzz-free and irresistibly smooth.
No more fuzz friction
The R7130 uses super hard-wearing titanium-coated blades that are 300 per cent harder than standard Remington steel blades. This upgrade in quality ensures the shaver performs to the very highest standard for long-lasting cutting excellence. While the multi-directional pivoting head adjusts easily and freely to your neck, chin and jaw line. If you feel the need for speed, the high-spec dual tracks give an even quicker shave and achieve real attention to detail with the discreet pop-up trimmer.

Top customer reviews
The razor does appear to shave closer than the older Remington and is quite fast in use. It is considerably quieter than the older model and can be rinsed under a tap to clean the heads. Unlike the older model which plugged directly into a razor socket, this employs a power block type plug which is inherently bulkier. A soft, fabric bag is provided which is large enough to hold the razor and brush(provided) but not the power lead or charge/storage base. Should you need to use a shaver adapter, as I often have to when travelling, this is a further item that will not fit the storage bag. The older Remington hase a zipped case that holds the razor, power lead and everything else provided with enough space to accomodate a shaver adapter. Because of this penny-pinching, I have down-scored this by a star.
Whilst there is a protective cover for the head, it is fiddly to fit, does not always engage correctly and all too easily dislodged. The older model has a cover that positively engages 100% of the time and is not easily dislodged accidentally. For this design fault I have deducted a second star. The razor itself deserves 5 stars.
I have three shavers at present, the top of the range Remmngton, top of the range Panasonic and a new Philips coolskin.
Battery life - Remmington wins hands down. It not only beats the other two, it absolutely trounces them. Panasonic being only good for 5 shaves and Philips slightly more, the Remmington will happily keep going for longer than you will ever need on say a 2 week holiday.
Irritation - it takes your skin a good month to get used to a new style of shaver and for you to get the hang of the pressure and movement of the shaver. The Remmington I have found is slightly worse than others I have tried, possibly due to the closeness of shave. Shaving powder (if you can find it) reduces this dramatically to the point of no irritation at all. The philips scores highly for this but that's to be expected as you are using moisturiser the whole time it's on. Panasonic is the happy medium.
Actual shaving finish and speed - Panasonic wins this. Very fast and very close- Remmington second, takes a while longer to get the same shave but just as close, Philips third- although a good shave, if you add on the time it takes to clean yourself of goop and hairs it takes longer and is only really worth it if you are shaving in the shower.
Build quality - Panasonic wins again - brilliant build. Remmington second the heads feel a little plasticky but the body of the shaver is solid, the stand well designed- Philips third - flimsy, lightweight and very plasticy.
Sound - this is actually very important in my opinion for a shaver - if you can hear the hairs being cut or not then you can tell when an area is clear. Philips near silent motor wins this easily. Panasonic second with it's high pitched buzz and Remmington third, the motor is not that loud but the movement of the shaving heads makes it hard to hear the shaving.
Conclusion - I love the Panasonic but it's battery life is appalling, the Philips is good for in the bath or shower but don't even think about it if you already dressed and want a quick touch up. Remmington is the jack of all trades and master of, well, one - outstanding battery life. It looks good and feels solidly built. If you can get it cheap then its a good buy but expect shaving rash for a month, possibly longer unless you can get hold of pre shave powder. Which one do I use ? If I'm going on holiday the Remmington is perfect or if the battery is run out on my Panasonic (doesn't take long) . Normally the Panasonic but in the shower - the Philips !!
over the years Remington shavers give me a better result than anything else.
i have a top of the range Braun currently and bought this as a travel option, this is so much better the other one does not get used except for a light source in the bathroom in the middle of the night!
closest to a wet shave than any other make (I have not tried Phillips for 10 years)but like all electrics I expect to have to replace the cutters in 9 to 12 months and usually they are around £30+
