By following the charging instructions in the product information leaflet, you are sure to maintain the trimmer's performance. Be sure to always completely dry both the trimmer and your hands before putting it on the charger.

I was looking for a replacement beard trimmer that had a short trim length of around 1.5mm, a decent price, and backed up by good reviews; the Remington MB320C caught my eye and seemed to satisfy these requirements. I found the two supporting reviews on Amazon informative and was the deciding factor on the purchase, compared to other reviews I'd seen on alternative makes/models.
Amazon.co.uk offered a decent price, provided the expected excellent delivery service and sound packaging, so well done Amazon.
First impressions of the beard trimmer were a solid, well built, tactile, comfortable and well balanced in the hand; a very well designed product.
The Trimmer Comb Attachment is adjusted by the well placed thumb wheel; it has a good positive engagement when setting. The Trimmer Comb moves up and down to achieve the desired length and completely covers the razor, it's easily removed by pulling off, but again this has a positive action and firm positioning.
Your first job will be to charge up the trimmer for 14-16 hours. The three plug/transformer combo provides the means to re-charge, with a lamp on the trimmer to indicate charging is taking place, however when fully charged the lamp remains lit, so there's no means to indicate full charge - just watch the clock.
The Trimmer Comb is well designed and provides a fairly wide platform that sits against your skin to allow for an exceptional even well controlled shave/trim; it's also easy to clean.
There are 9 shave settings/lengths available, set by the thumb wheel and next to that is a number indicator 1 to 9. The settings are as follows 1=1.5mm, 2=2.5mm, 3=4mm, 4=5.5mm, 5=7mm, 6=9mm, 7=11mm, 8=14mm, 9=18mm.

Much better made than similarly-priced Wahl models I have owned, which were frankly unimpressive in the first instance, and it the second junk, with a battery that failed to hold a charge by 1 year old and couldn't be replaced. The Remington feels like it might survive a few years. I hope the battery resembles the exterior quality. So far it works well, has a better adjustment system, and the precision trimmer is a bonus.

EDIT: Unfortunately battery quality has turned out to be lousy. My MB320C took mere weeks to degrade, and was dead within 9 months. This is not helped at all by the absence of any overcharge protection. You cannot leave this on charge without killing the batteries.

Having pulled it apart, there is space for 2 AA cells, but Remington have fitted 2 x AAA's with less than half the capacity. The trimmer is well made aside from this deliberate sabotage, and the batteries are not designed to be replaceable by the user or factory. What stupidity. However, if you can handle a soldering iron, a pair of good-quality tagged AA's will cost around £10 and be much better than the tiny capacity cells fitted as OE - 2x2,000mAH vs 2x600mAH, and that's what I have done. Just don't charge the unit unless it needs it, and remember to always disconnect it once charged. NB dismantling involves removing 4 screws and the silver clip that locates the cutter head, then prising off the silver side panels that are held in place by strong double-sided tape as a well as edge clips. You can then lever apart the top and bottom of the body of the trimmer. That is held together by 4 snap-clips. The motor/switch stays in the lower piece, and the board with the batteries soldered to it, and charger socket, can be lifted clear to replace the cells.

    Remington: please note.

My missus broke my last electric razor after she went at her bush like a proper sheep shearing champion.

This is it's replacement, so far so good. My face is trim and the missus has regrown her dedication to the australian outback.

If, like me you are someone who likes to do a bit of research before buying anything, then trust me when I say this....you will not be disappointed when you buy this shaver.
Its been about 3 months since I have ordered this product. The delivery was just as promised. Kudos to the seller.
Here are some points about the shaver -
    1. Sturdy piece of equipment. Doesnt feel flimsy and either too big or small. Fits just fine in the palm of the hand to allow a good control while shaving.
    2. Very powerful motor for trimming / shaving although it doesnt look like it when you first look at the product. This helps a lot in reducing timescales by avoiding me to go over and over again to get the right shave.
    3. It has the length settings from 1 mm to 8mm. I have only been using the 1mm for a close trim and the results are spot on.
    4. I am yet to use the supplementary trimmer that comes along with it and I really dont see its use for myself. But not too fussed about its presence.
    5. Battery life is just brilliant. I use the trimmer almsot once every week and have had to charge the shaver only once in the last 2.5 - 3 months. Super.

All in all, a very satisfied customer.
    Hope this helps

I don't have a beard but I hate being clean shaven, instead preferring the look of about 3 days' growth, which for me equates to around 2mm of stubble.

After doing a bit of research I decided on the Remington Professional MB320C and after 3 weeks of regular use I'm very impressed.
The comb guard that covers the blade is cleverly designed so that there's no chance of accidentally taking off too much length. After reading reviews of other similar products and seeing people complaining about poor guard design requiring very careful angling and positioning of the trimmer, I was very pleased to find that with the Remington you can just casually hack away with no danger whatsoever of taking too much off and ending up with a patchy beard/patchy stubble.

The battery seems to last for a while as I've used it roughly once every other day and it hasn't needed another charge yet.
It's also got a decent precision trimmer on the reverse, so you can trim sideburns etc.

This is a great product and is perfect whether you just want stubble or you've got a proper beard to maintain. It's also good value for money too given the price tag.

    **Update 18/05/2013**
Still going strong! On average I've used it twice per week, every week, and the blades are still sharp and cut well. The battery life has declined and a full charge is now enough for about an hour of constant usage, but this has only happened over the last couple of years and I doubt it'd present much of an issue unless you were using it every day.
