If you engage with the activities you will get more from this book and it can also act as a great starting point for identifying ideas that you might want to explore further.
If you don't like the idea of writing in books you can always run a journal along side. I think had it been spiral bound it might have felt more like a book you should be writing in.
Reflective practice is clearly a practical activity with which you need to engage, so if you buy this book be prepared to use it as it has been designed to be used, rather than just reading it and expecting something to happen.
It opens lots of doors and if fully explored can help you to identify how important reflective practice can and should be.
