All ten episodes from season one of the popular 1970s American children's show about the adventures of five, street-sassy kids from the inner city, who become amateur sleuths. As they solve robberies, kidnaps and other assorted criminal activity, they always leave their trademark red hand print nearby, to let the authorities know of their involvement. Episodes comprise: 'The Face at the Window', 'The Spooky Hideout', 'The Search', 'Beware the Red Hand Gang', 'The Mystery Boat', 'The Man in the Mask', 'The Missing Jewels', 'Search and Rescue', 'Doc's Big Idea', 'The Photo Clue', 'Monkey Business' and 'Monkey Business'.

I remember watching these as a child and it's funny to see my kids enjoying the stories now. A type of 'american famous five' set of mysteries which the gang inevitably get involved in. Lots of dramatic music and suspense!!
Admittedly the picture is a bit grainy but that adds to the charm and I know this series will be watched over and over by my brood of four (12,11,9&7).
The stories are quite good, if more appealing to kids and maybe tense to a kid but I found it somewhat annoying at times - like someone about to find your hiding place and then suddenly someone distracts them. For kids the characters were ok.
The one downside to it all though was the constant recapping of the story so far, maybe they could have given the option to skip those. I find voiceovers annoying at the best of times, three separate stories seemed like an eternity when they probably only last an hour or so overall. From time to time it felt like a chore to get through the stories
I'd only recommend this if it's for a kid to watch, or if you watched it as a kid. Worth watching, but not something I personally would re-watch that often. It's kind of like a Goonies for TV, there are plenty of kids turned detectives shows around, funny how they ALWAYS happen to be in the right place at the right time - or wrong place depending on your perspective
