Book one of this series is about Cam, who co-owns and runs a marina along with three of his friends. He is a bit of a daredevil throwing himself into dangerous activities for fun, but avoids any sort of relationship and keeps people at a distance, except for his father and his three buddies. Then you have Gannon, who is self assured, owns his own company with branches around the world and a complete workaholic and hates water or any activities out of the norm. When Gannon's assistant decides it would be a good idea to have a team building day out on the lake, they go along to the marina to check it out and when Gannon sets eyes on Cam, both feel like the air has been sucked out of the room. Gannon decides he wants Cam and goes all out to get him, but Cam keeps him at arms length, even though he can't stop thinking about Gannon, due to his fear of getting too close to anyone. It's beautiful to see how Gannon bends over backwards, going against all he fears just so he can be with Cam. Really looking forward to this series.

Nicole Edwards is a must read author for me, I've never met a book of hers I didn't love. Reckless is no different. The first in a series of m/m romance, we meet the men from Pier 70, the main focus being Cam Strickland. He is reckless and daring in life, but overly cautious when it comes to love. Enter Gannon Burgess, game developer extraordinaire, a charming nerd with an alpha center. They are beautifully opposite and the chemistry between them is just brilliant.
Now, the problems they have to overcome are quite unique which was a refreshing change and I thoroughly enjoyed taking the journey with Cam and Gannon. Look forward to reading about the rest of pier 70!

Love Nicole Edwards, she's got a flair with writing such h cracking good stories. Cam losing his mother whilst she was on a business trip just breaks my heart, Gannon been tossed out of his home by his homophobic parents, that just sickening, you love your children unconditionally. Cam meets Gannon and sparks fly for both, business trips, best friends and busy schedule all try to break them but it makes them realise or should that be Dare n Milly makes them see sense. Wedding n sky diving next... Can't wait for more about theses two in more books in the series. Fantastic couldn't put it down, love romance.

Being a big fan of Nicole Edwards books i didn`t want to miss out on this new series, i wasn`t sure about this story line having never read a full novel with a MM relationship..Well i`m so glad i took the plunge, this now being one of the most hottest erotic books iv`e read and so well written, but then Nicole never fails to please.. The attraction between the two main characters Cam and Gannon is electric to say the least. I never thought i would enjoy a book so much about a relationship that some people would see as Taboo. Looking forward now to the second book in the series, and congratulations to Nicole Edwards for a book that says ``Hey i`m Gay do you have a problem with that ??``

For me reading this was like watching a low budget daytime TV soap, Dodgy script, plenty of over the top axnst and odd characters. Really struggled to finish it. Hard to warm to a main character who thinks a one hour car drive to meet his boyfriend is a long distance relationship fraught with risks. OK I get the back story to this but come on! Far too much graphic and prolonged sex. Not sure we need sex scenes repeatedly dragged out over serval chapters, I just ended up skipping most them. And finally the marriage proposal scene was just cringe worthy. As you may have guessed I didn`t like it and won`t be reading anymore of the series.

This is a brand new MM series and focuses on the Pier 70 Marina which is co-owned and run by Cam, Dare and Roan. As Nicole Edwards is well known for her sexy erotic stories no matter the genre, I was eager to dive into this one, especially as it was about opposites attract, one of my favourite story themes. This time it is sexy tattooed bad boy Cam and sexy rich geek gamer Gannon.

When Cam and Gannon first meet there was an instant lust and attraction. However both have issues that don’t make for an easy fall into a relationship. Cam is a go-getter, he is an adrenalin junkie and he sees no fear in the recreational pursuits he enjoys. One thing he does fear though is relationships so he keeps as far away from them as he can but the interactions with Gannon has him hoping he can take a chance on being reckless in his love life. Gannon on the other hand is the ultimate control man, his business and work is all he focuses on. He doesn’t have the time to pursue a relationship, not when the hurt they can cause takes away his control. Spending time with Cam though has him reconsidering his life and how empty it is without love.

I just loved these two from the offset. The chemistry was off the charts hot and the passion was scintillatingly sizzling! As with all good romances there was a lot of angst and soul searching but that just added to the complexity of the storyline of opposites finding that in fact they just fit perfectly together.

The secondary characters who I presume will be featured in future books in the series were equally as enthralling, especially Dare. I can’t wait to read more of these amazing men at Pier 70. A definite must read recommendation from me. Five stars.
