I loved reading Heartless the first book of this series as you get a glimpse of the other Screw Crew boys while it's was Carter's story....
This one is second book - Logan & Mia's story... Wow.... this one left me a lump in the back of my throat as I was trying not to be a blubbering mess... so many things was happening and one thing I SO didn't expect at all! That makes a damn good story when that one thing happens, LOVE that feeling.
So freaking excited for Jaxson's story!! I say bring it on!
Mia has loved Logan for years now. She’s never had the courage to tell him how she feels...
Years have gone by with him moving away...
By chance they’re reunited...
Can she finally tell him how she feels?
Love this series. It was great getting glimpses of what is happening with the characters from Book 1 too. Can’t wait to read more
Am really looking forward to the rest of this series but I also hope and pray they find a heart for Marcus and they all get there HEA cause they all do deserve it
Mia is like everyone’s little sister all 5 of them would lay down their lives for her, but the only one she sees is Logan. She has been in love with Logan since she set eyes on him. Although she would never have thought he’d look twice at her. He gave her her first kiss and even took her to prom, he’s been making her dreams come true even before he knew it. Until she had nothing. After they leave to live in New York she feels left behind it even her big brother rings her anymore lost, confused and alone she clings to her best friend Josie.... Fast forward 3 years and she’s living in New York in her terms not relying on anyone but herself and can’t wait for Josie to come live with her, but not everyone is as they seem.
Their was only one rule of the Screw Crew no one touches Rhett’s sister Mia so for years Logan has lived for the small memories he’s had of Mia knowing he can look but not touch. After losing touch for 3 years he has Mia back in his life but this time he wants the fairytale, this time he wants his girl even if it means he has to ask for his best friends approval.
There were a lot of ups and downs with this book and my emotions definitely got involved when we learned more about Marcus’s story I definitely had a lip tremble and tears in my eyes. It’s a sweet journey filled with heartbreaking moments but still makes you all warm and fuzzy.
Another amazing read and I’m ready for part 3 like now!!!
The series title is enemies to lovers but what you get is a teenage crush to an adult love story and a brothers best friend romance in one delicious package.
I also expected a bad boy but Logan's bad boy college years are long gone, it has for all of them, if you haven't read the first book in the series, it gives you a better idea of how this group of 5 boys were a hot commodity with the girls, the popular guys in college that all The girls wanted and they earned The name screw crew.
This is years later, the teenage boy Mia fell in love with, crushed hard on and the boy who gave her her first kiss is now a man and they are finally reunited after 3 years of being apart.
Too much time has past and Logan won't waste any more, it's time to get his girl even if he has to run it by his best friend and partner first to soften the blow.
These guys are all like brothers and although Mia and Logan's story is a big part of the plot you also get a piece of Marcus's story too which is heart-breaking and I did shed a tear for Marcus especially when the guys all pull together in support of their friend.
Reckless evokes a good mixture of emotions, it's heartwarming, sweet, sour, sizzling hot and gives you that gooey softness in the centre, a perfect contemporary romance recipe.
Another enjoyable read by Michelle Horst that is becoming an addictive series.
Can be read as a standalone and leads to a hea.

When the boys all moved to New York after trying to contact them with no luck, Mia decides that she can make it on her own, with the support of her friend Josie.
Deciding to move to New York, even though she’s not talking to her brother, she surprised when she sees him in bar, and even more surprised the chemistry with Logan is still as strong as ever. After talking with all the boys, they work out the lost communication is because of a stalker that Mia has and worry about her safety, moving her into her brothers. Although Logan has feelings for Mia, he knows he needs to talk to Rhett first, the one thing the boys all have is trust and he doesn’t want to destroy the group.
When the stalker shows their true colours, Mia never thought that the Screw Crew list would impact on her the way it did and leads Mia to walk away from Logan even with how she feels about him.
Mia and Logan make a bet, which either one of them are happy to win. Although their happiness is short lived as they all ban together to help one of their own. Mia and Logan go through a mix of emotions and heartbreak to get to their happily ever after, but all their friends are there for the journey with them.
I loved the ending where everyone came together to celebrate the friendship, family and love they all share.
