All of the recipes in this book are good practices for database structure and seed data maintenance. However, when working in global web environments with 24x7 uptime is required the database is often the one component where DDL and DML upgrades necessitate the system having to go offline. The title suggests that the book will give recipes for continuous integration. However, no where in the book does the concept of database migration from one version to another without or very minimised outage get addressed.
