I think this book is more for adults who recall many of the older expressions. The (young teenage) kids I work with can't figure them out, apparently because they cannot relate to the expressions they represent. I'll keep it because it's really inexpensive and kind of fun for me; when I get tired of it will pass it along to a friend.(I don't recommend paying $74 unless you discover it's a first edition and is bound in leather) If you're buying it for yourself, you might like it, and it's possible that different children would enjoy it, too.
