Absolutely loved this book!!
Reap is the second book in the Scarred Souls series, and as I loved Raze book 1 so much I couldn't wait for this one.
Zaal has been held as a prisoner for much of his life being used and abused and forced to kill people for his Master. He only knows himself as 221 a killing machine, no better than a dog.
Talia is fed up with her life, longing for something more.
One day she finds this huge ferral man who's being held by her family. She finds herself fascinated by him, longing to get to know him better, wanting to see if he's the man she wants him to be or the monster he comes across as. Talia finds herself on a rollercoaster ride she never wants to end.
This story is dark and had me gripped from the beginning I couldn't put it down. I was an emotional wreck by the end of it but for me that's the proof a book is worth reading...who wants to read a story that doesn't leave you with your head in a spin and you just thinking WOW!!!
Another amazing book from the talented Tillie Cole, this woman is a fantastic writer. Love her!!

Reap is book #2 in the Scarred Souls Series, I was lucky enough to be gifted an ARC of this book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

Tillie Cole is ‘That’ author for me, she’s the one that I’ve read every book she has out and I eagerly anticipate the next. She’s the author that I recommend to everyone, the ones whose books never let me down.

I’m not going to mince my words with this review, what’s the point? I’m a big enough fangirl for Tillie as it is so let’s not pretend that I’ve hated this book lol

No instead I’m going to say that Reap is one of the best books I’ve read this year!!!

This series is dark and tormented, it’s not an easy romance, but i embraced every dark corner and walked into the evil and horrifying world that Raze and 221 live in and I loved every moment.

This book twists the normal lines of love and romance and turns them on their head! It takes lifelong enemies in the most f#cked up of situations and yet still manages to make the reader completely consumed with the beautiful connections.

I didn’t think Tillie Cole could write another fighter who wouldn’t pale in the shadow of Luka, but instead she created 221.

He is a stunning mix of rage, aggression and childlike innocence!! Somehow his story is even more tragic than Luka’s was and I think it broke me!!!

I’m a bit in love with 221, and you will be once you’ve read this book. Because the suffering he has experienced is horrifying and again this book seems much darker and graphic than Raze was.

The juxtaposition between the rage that consumes 221 and the desire he has to be loved and cared for was incredibly moving and my breath caught in my chest far too many times whilst reading this book.

This is only my 2nd book by Tillie Cole but she has already made her way onto my list of favourite authors!

This story of Talia and Zaal drew me in from the very beginning and captivated me til the very end. I loved getting lost in the Bratva world! These are such hauntingly beautiful stories and Tillie Cole writes with such style and finesse.

5 stars from me!

Couldn't wait for Reap to come out after reading Raze didn't think it could get any better but it did. Loved the old character's coming in as well but not taking over the book. Story line was epic telling us Talia's story of finding love by hell did she find it in 221. Looking forward to the next book I've got a feeling its not over yet.

5 Sizzling Stars!!

My thoughts:

I was gifted an ARC of Reap as part of the blog tour, was so chuffed to be one of the chosen ones! I love Tillie's books and this series is no exception.

This is the 2nd book in the series, so make sure you read Raze first before Reap.

Now where to start....this is 221's (Zaal)and Talia's story and please hold tight for a roller coaster of a ride.

Throughout this book and especially from about half way my anxiety started to take over and the palpitations kicked in, I was going to bed and I just couldn't get this book out of my head and I would lie there thinking about it.

I could go into detail about Reap but I'm sure you've read the synopsis, so I don't want to spoil a single word for you.

Reap pulls and sucks you in from the very first word, something that Tillie is amazing at, her writing is seriously flawless, so detailed and fantastic. I am a massive fan of hers and will read anything that she has written.

For me I slightly preferred Reap to Raze (book 1) and I think that's only because I found the fighting scenes very dark/graphic but in a good way if that makes sense....I would be sat reading both of these books with eyes like saucers, holding my breath.....so good.

So all in all I can't recommend Reap enough, be warned it is dark but oh so amazing and incredibly hot (cold shower required)!

Congratulations to Tille on another fantastic, amazing, hypnotic read and I can't wait for the next book - the very ending....oh my....so excited, it gave me goosebumps :) Please, please don't make me wait too long!!

Oh and I am now left with one hell of a book hangover.....lord knows how anything can follow after that!!
