    This Headset is one of the best buys (apart from my Razor Naga) that i have got for my computer.
    The 7.1 Surround sound has only one downside, it's too good. So many times i have been watching a film, and had to look outside because i genuinely thought that it was real. XD

    The Base is fantastic, and the overall sound clarity is SUPERB!
    The microphone isn't the best on the market, but i am told it is still the clearest out of any of my friends. (who all have other gaming headsets)
    If that wasn't good enough, the inbuilt sound card and USB means you can use this headset on almost any computer, without needing a decent sound card (OFC)

    The Amount of settings on the Sound Card interface (shown on the right in the picture) can be daunting at first, but after 5 minutes of fiddling it becomes simple, at the amount of options becomes a luxury that i would not like to lose.

    The headset is very lightweight, and will ANY size, my head is tiny, and it fits me very comfortably. I Can use this headset for 10+ hours straight, and not even notice it, where as with MOST other headsets it is a joy to remove them.

    I personally feel that i could not be happier with this product.
    5/5 again Razor.

    Although the headset has great sound quality it has a really sedative mic the mic can pick up sounds from the flights of stairs down. This headset stopped working because of some driver issues. I believe that I wasn't the only one that had this issue.

    I'm writing this review 3 years after my order, so i've definately given these a good bit of use, take it from me this headset is great for

    1. Comfortability - They just are... they're not too tight, just flop nicely against your ears, barely notice them

    2. Ease of use- its all built in to the sound board and controllable from this, soo yeh..

    3. Mic quality - Handles both high and low sensitivity settings very well and doesnt make you sound like your in a tin can, no complaints from my mates on the other end, some keys strokes it will pickup tho and the recepient will hear this. But its no biggy.

    Some things i did have a problem with however is if you do buy this headset be aware that the control unit is best left sat on the desk or something as you use them, i constantly kept setting them on my lap, they would occasionally fall off and after a time this pulled the wire away from the sound board and would only work with the wire in a certain position, so i had to DIY this by opening it up and pushing the wire further in and glue it in place to a position they did work and this now works nicely again.

    Another thing i have noticed with these are a lack of bass...compared to the Razor krakens i now own... i think this is probably down to the comforting fit since they bleed alot. Although on occasions even the Krakens are abit too bassy and i revert back to this headset. Surround in my opinion is better on these than Krakens as well the bass of krakens do no favour in picking up the little sounds and details, so theres no 1 for all headset for me they're not perfect inthis aspect but you cant win on everything i suppose.

    I'd say buy these for a comfortable detailed surround sound experience. Buy Krakens or other headsets for music and even more bass if this is important to you.

    I have used these for a few years and don't believe they were worth the money.

    They seem to be high spec and professional standard but I don't see the difference between these and a pair worth about £30.
    The soundcard you get with it is a cool idea but not worthwhile. For me, it is annoying it fit it on my desk whilst using the headset. It is handy to be able to change the volume easily, but, a lot of keyboards have media controls and there is no difference. You can change between 7.1 and 2.0 if you wish, but why would you want to? When are you ever playing a game, listening to music, or watching a film and think to yourself "This would sound better in 2.0."? You can also change the volume of each 7 speakers individually, but again, why would you want to do this?

    Another negative is power consumption which is very high and on my old Dell PC I couldn't use both mic and headphones as it consumed too much power from my USB port.

    I will say however that they are comfortable and pretty good quality. The cable has got a strong woven casing and has lasted me a few years and still no difference. They are also super comfortable and feel like your ears are being hugged. The microphone seems good but it depends on what game you are playing and I have never heard somebody else using one so I don't know how clear it is. It does have a handy swivel on it so you can push it vertical if you want to take a swig of your drink or something.

    Overall I think it is a decent headset but not worth the money. Comfortable, some good features, but also some features that could have been left out.

    I cannot properly describe how comfortable this headset is, the soft surrounds on the earpieces are so cushiony soft it is unreal. I regularly go on long gaming sessions particularly at the weekends which could be anywhere between 8 and 15 hours and these things simply do not become painful to the ears or to your head at any point. They are also pretty light too which is awesome.

    The sound is fantastic and the control box provided for sound is both effective and intuitive offering very good control over all aspects of sound on this headset.

    Is it a crazy expensive piece of kit? Absolutely it is but if you're looking at this product you're obviously in the market for a premium product. This IS a premium product and as soon as I got to use them I knew where my money had gone and knew I wouldn't regret spending a single penny of my hard earned cash on these things.

    I would definitely recommend these to any gamer out there in the market for a quality gaming headset. Forge Turtle Beach, forget Logitech and anyone else. Get these, you will not be sorry.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Hochqualitatives Surroundsound Headset mit genialer Optik!
    Reviewed in Germany on 30 July 2013

    P.S.: Dies ist meine erste Rezension, also bitte ich euch wenn ihr Zeit habt Rückmeldung zu geben was ich das nächste Mal besser machen könnte.

    Non ho parole questo prodotto è meraviglioso non ha nessun contro, è splendito,perfetto e ineguagliabile!
    Sicuramente la miglior cuffia mai provata è perfetta sia nei film che nei giochi che nella musica(sempre considerando che non è una cuffia da audiofili chiaramente in quanto è da gamers) i bassi sono eccezionali e anche se il volume è settato al massimo il suono non distorce MAI!!! è incredibile sono rimasto sbalordito... Esteticamente è bellissima anche grazie ai due marchi razer di colore blu che si trovano sulla parte esterna della cuffia. Il microfono è il migliore mai visto in assoluto garantito mai visto un microfono così sorprendente!La qualità audio è perfetta e le cuffie ti insonorizzano totalmente dall'esterno! Però come in tutti i prodotti perfetti c'è il problema costo... Infatti il costo è parecchio elevato(forse troppo) però se avete i soldi(chiaramente) non esitate vi giuro che non ve ne pentirete. Vi assicuro che è la miglior cuffia da gaming in circolazione assicurato al 100%

    Si tienes un portatil y estas buscando un buen 7.1 sin altavoces, estos cascos son una buena elección. Aun asi tienen algunos problemas y carencias, bastante significativas.

    /**COMODIDAD**/
    + Respecto a la comodidad, son perfectos. No he probado casco mas cómodo, y ergonómico al mismo tiempo.
    + Las almohadillas de los cascos son de un material muy suave de tela o terciopelo, que da la sensación de no llevar nada puesto. De esta forma no hay molestias de uso prolongado, por presión o sudor.
    - Absorbe el sudor con lo que se ensucia por ello. No obstante las almohadillas son extraíbles para su limpieza.

    /**Sonido**/
    + Claro, pero quizás poco perceptible (Hay que subir bastante el volumen)
    + El 7.1 es espectacular, en juegos que lo sepan exprimir.
    - En juegos de estrategia y demás es mas cómodo utilizar el modo Estéreo pues el 7.1 dificulta el juego a veces para percibir sonidos
    + Puedes alternar entre estéreo y 7.1 gracias al panel de control externo que incorpora
    - La calidad no es tan buena como el precio da a parecer

    /**Microfono**/
    - Debes configurarlo completamente desde el panel externo o de lo contrario se te oirá como si de un monstruo mecánico se tratase
    - La calidad, aun configurado, es penosa por la barbaridad que cuestan estos cascos.
    - El filtro de ruido es inexistente. Se oyen los clicks, golpes, y hasta la respiración.
    + Es mas bien cómodo de sacar y guardar, aunque poco manipulable.

    /**Compatibilidad**/
    + En windows 7 64 bits me ha ido bien desde el principio, pero he tenido algunos problemas de que me lo deje de reconocer (puntuales, nada importante)
    - Necesita de actualización nada mas comprarlos (opcional pero recomendada)
    - Puede dejar de ser reconocible por USB después de actualizarlo (no permanentemente).
    + Normalmente basta con conectarlo y disfrutar
    - En sistemas operativos en base Linux dan algún que otro problemilla de tener que toquitear para que funcionen.
    - Tengo Ubuntu 10.10 y me da la impresión de que el micro se oye peor que en windows.

    /***CONCLUSIÓN***/

    Cascos, muy cómodos, y de aspecto geniales. Una calidad bastante buena, aunque dispar con su precio, que ofrece un 7.1 impresionante. Si eres de aquellos con un portatil que le encantan los juegos del estilo Dead Space, Burnout y juegos de tiros (First Person Shooters); estos cascos te van a enamorar. Por el contrario si tienes una torre, o te suelen gustar mas algunos juegos del estilo Starcraft 2 o MMORPGs; te recomiendo unos 5.1 con cable de componentes en el primer caso, y unos 2.0 de mejor calidad, o mas prestaciones, en el segundo.

    Le Megalodon sono uno dei migliori modelli Razer: comode e leggere, facili da regolare, forniscono un audio forte e cristallino, con la possibilità di passare dal surround 7.1 quando si vuole, ideali per gli sparatutto. Il Problema GROSSO di questo modello è che non viene riconosciuto dal pc se inserito in una porta usb 3.0, e la razer sembra non voler rilasciare un aggiornamento del firmware atto a risolvere il problema, dato che sono ANNI che persiste. Una stella per protesta.
