You WILL spend hours and hours trying to get it apart. I recently lent my puzzle to a friend and it came back a week later in one piece (they hadn't managed to remove a single piece, and they LOVE puzzles and had tried hard)
It is so hard I have NEVER tried putting back together without the instructions. Fortunately it comes with instructions of how to put it together / take it apart.
Also since there is no 'trick' to it, there is plenty of 'replay' value (assuming you don't memorize the MANY moves required to solve it)
Don't overlook the advantage that this is a puzzle without hundreds of pieces you will fear losing as:
1. there are only 6
2. they are quite big
3. they will spend most of their life annoyingly locked together mocking you...
Consequently you can take the puzzle to work, on holiday, on a train or just sit in front of the TV (do you have puzzles you never pick up because you will have to sit bolt upright at the dining table to try... I do)
The only downside is that the makers didn't make it look more stylist (eg matt black, but this would make the instructions difficult to follow) as most people will assume it's a kid's toy... until they try it themselves.
Made of plastic but seems to be quite tough, I'm sure it could be "forced" more but for reasonably heavy handed use it survived fully intact.
Also reassembled via the included instructions (disassembly and reassembly) which wasn't too bad, but they certainly could have been clearer, I can see some struggling to understand them at points.
I'm not specially intelligent, this product it's just much easier than any Rubik and easier than many puzzles.
Maybe it's the most difficult you can make with 6 pieces and this kind of assembly.
It's just quality. Anyway we cannot expect better quality because it's cheap.
Good for a child.

I like this puzzle as it will take a while. Went to step 8 or 9, then went back to the start. I have many puzzles which are hard and many which are easy.Published 20 months ago by Z
