Being the 'official' case, it obviously fits the Pi well. In fact my only complaint is that the lid fits tight so you either have the lid on and nothing connected to the board or you have to have the lid off so cables can make their way out.
Edit: after dropping my case, I discovered the side panels click off providing easy access to the GPIO header, etc. Also having taken the lid off a few times the case sometimes comes apart instead of the lid coming off which can be annoying. I've ended up gluing mine together to stop this happening.
It's a really nice case actually. It's made of plastic and comes apart, so if you need to get to the top pins on the Pi the top of the case comes off, and so do the white sides. Your Pi kind of clips inside the case, allowing access to all of the ports through perfectly positioned holes and recesses, and the memory card slot can also be accessed without dismantling the case. The top of the box has an embossed Raspberry Pi logo too.
A well-designed and well priced case. What's not to like?
I think it will fit the Raspberry Pi 3, but cannot confirm.
The quality is really good, and aesthetically pleasing.
The board won't come loose very easily.
A small problem is occasionally when inserting a Micro SD card, you'll miss the socket and it will go beneath the board, meaning you will have to take the Raspberry Pi out of the case to retrieve it.
Also the top of the case is not flat. This won't usually be a problem. If you're stowing it away in a project, who needs the case anyway?
Very happy with this and have bought another but in black for another Pi3
