This book captures the essence of cognitive therapy. It is on my shelf and I delve whenever I am stuck on a point raised by a client. I offer hypnotherapy and NLP support to the mental health sector as well as my own clients, and the classes I run are based on many books and much experience, but some of the ideas are what Georges Philips and Terence Watts bring forward. This book will give you some practical help whether you are a practitioner or seeking some inspiration in your career. It is easy to understand and not full of jargon as some books tend to be. The simple session structures give you a starting point, or just use the ideas written down and play with them. I have found that when I am searching for a way to move someone forward, a delve into the book usually sets me on the right path.
Why spend lots of time and energy trawling through book after book in the library, or on the shelves when this book has a wide range of appeal and doesn't cost the earth. If you want Rapid Change to happen, and most of it comes from a person's own desire to begin, further help from this book will definitely give you the push you need to find the right words to use.
