And thats exactly what it did when i put my grubby hands on it. I, like most people who know of this band found out about them after seeing them live. Its something that you dont forget. This album captures that feeling so well. The production may sound awful to some, but to me its like the greatest tasting cup of tea. The follow up sounds extremely over produced in comparison. Songs oww the songs, fast fast and faster. Its all about procreation really each and everyone of em i think. I compare the to deicide they are satanists after all. Slayer some of the solos will leave kerry dribbling into his napkin while eating the pies. There british, so be proud that you picked a gem from the the british underground. Does anyone remember that T'shirt bearing the logo "She Like Me To Stand While.......". Ive still got it. Bids start at £100!!

I first saw Akercocke at their first gig. There were some guys in suits wondering around the venue, and I thought to myself, cynically "Oh great, another goth band..." HOW WRONG WAS I! They proceeded to blast their way through the most astonishing set of Satanic Death Metal I've ever witnessed (and that numbers a fair few). So I got the album. This is the most original, innovative album in the genre I've heard for a long time, incorporating electronica, samples and brutal blasting. The musicianship is fantastic and the songs exremely well written. If you've got this far, CLICK ADD TO BASKET. NOW!
AVE SATANAS!
