I have to agree with the other one star reviews of this game. You have almost no control over Rambo he just wants to stand in front of his enemies and get shot. You can only do so much killing whilst hiding. Next time they make a shooter they might want to consider allowing the user to decide where they go and what they do.

Its hard to find anything positive to say in this mess other than its Rambo. I was excited for such a long time to play this as a huge fan of the first two films.. However i was bitterly disappointed. This game has the view of first person from a fixed perspective, so just think house of the dead or operation wolf. Its awful.. and very dated...weapons seem to unrealisticly run out of ammo to quickly and the graphics appear to be from a 1999 486 pc.. its just bad, really bad.. Do yourself a favour and skip this tragic failure.

A little and personal overview of "Rambo: The Video Game", available for XBOX360, PC, PS3

    Introduction
    "Rambo".
The name of a cinema legend.
During the 80's this character was one of the best action heroes!
But in this videogame is just an unlucky protagonist of an awful rail shooter...

    Pros
+ Few and somewhat fun moments with the .50 cal HMG

    Cons
    - Bad Graphics (Killzone for the PS2 looks way better... and it's a 10 years old videogame)
    - Unbalanced difficulty!
    - Expect lag in various game sessions
    - Sometimes the videogame can freeze abruptly and with no reasons
    - The controls are not responsive enough! (and it's a rail shooter!)
    - The "auto-aim" feature can be a pain in some situations (more so in the co-op mode)
    - No "drop in drop out" co-op feature
    - The overall audio quality is pretty low (did they record the sound effects from an old, broken, tv speaker ?)
    - The price is way too high!

"Rambo: The Video Game" is an overall failure.
Just stay away from this game!
Or if you really want it that badly buy it dirt cheap in the near future... maybe in one of those humble bundle offers. for a dollar... at least you will help a charity organization...

If you like getting shot and not being able to do anything about it then this is the game for you. The graphics would be considered good if this was released in 1941. But thats impossible, like enjoying this game.

If I didn't love the Rambo movies I wouldn't have bought it.
I don't remember reading that it's a fixed perspective when I pre ordered.

    Cons:
    Voice
    Enemy models

    Pros:
    What?

Anyway. Stay away from it. If you really wanna play it, just visit your local Arcade and play Virtual Cop.

Expected a free roaming game like "Sniper Ghost Warrior" and "Sniper Elite V2" but got a game where you have no control except to look left and right and shoot. Very disappointed with this game.
