Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I bought this especially to clarify the history and detailed routing of the Transcontinental lines across Canada, particularly through the Rockies. A good account here but the maps were not very helpful. I found it best to read the text and refer to a large scale atlas of Canada to get a clear understanding of the various routes. Very valuable for the rail enthusiast proposing train travel across the Rockies.
