This 28" inch 7004 Radio Controlled EP Racing boat is one of the fastest we have seen. It is powered by two powerful motor spinning propellers and is powered by a standard Sub C 7.2V Nicad battery pack (as used in tamiya r/c cars) which will give around 15 minutes of runtime once fully charged. The boat is powered by 380 Type racing motor, which produces tremendous power. Professionally designed and manufactured PC twin-propeller which not only provides huge thrust to speeds of 15-20mph, but it is durable as well. Features Large radio controlled boat - 700mm in length! Width 252mm, height 155mm Powered by two powerful 380-type high power motors for high speed action! Large torsion propellors Range approximately 120 feet Includes 7.2V Ni-Cd rechargeable battery and charger Charge time approximately 5 hours Requires 6 x AA batteries for controller (not supplied)

Quite clever having the sensors on the prop shafts so it only works in water, avoids any fingers or arms hurt in rotating props.
Make sure the props are screwed up tight, not too tight, mine were loose and could have come off although the direction would have ensured they wouldn't one is left hand thread but deceleration can sometimes loose props like a drone can.
On the water it rides nice planes well and leaves a cool wake. The nicad is a little dated I guess but probably stands up to more abuse and is safer than a lipo, I am going to add a connector so we can use lipos though.
Bit disappointed it hasn't got reverse, you have to be careful not to end up somewhere you can't steer out of, I guess this also detracts from doing so 'scale' manoeuvring you can also see definite steps in the speed control, however we are not talking a model of a lot of money, so value for money is actually very high and it's not the end of the world if it gets trashed.
We took it out to a local river on boxing day, in spite of a fee novice bumps he was amazed by how fast it would go.
Well worth the money to see his face when he opened it.
