Note:
The window privacy film works only on flat, clean, and smooth surfaces. It will not stick on plastic, broken, or uneven surfaces. Do not suggest installing the window privacy film on a double-pane window that is exposed to the sun for a long time
Installation Instructions:
- 1. Measure the surface and cut the privacy film. Leave an extra inch margin on each side for an easy adjustment.
- 2. Clean the target surface thoroughly and make sure the surface is clean enough without any dust.
- 3. Peel off the transparent backing film along a short side. (Very Important!!!)
- 4. Spray a lot of water or soapy water both on the smooth side of the window privacy film and the window, then install the window film onto the window.
- 5. Use the soft towel or squeegee to wipe the privacy film back and forth to make sure that the bubbles and water have been totally removed.
- 6. Trim off the margins and use a cloth to flatten out the film. Here you go!
How to Peel Off the Clear Backing Film:
- Step 1 - Please wet one window film corner and use your fingers to twist it for a while to loosen the attachment between the window film and clear backing film;
- Step 2 - Please attach a sticky tape to the side of the clear backing film corner (we have also attached a small sticky tape on each roll of window privacy film for your convenience), and then press it for effective attachment;
- Step 3 - And then you are able to separate the clear backing film from the window film easily.

The effort of the last window film, one of the "silver" (blue) sticky films will never be forgotten. It was tortuous, at least 2 hours and looked awful. When I stripped it off a few weeks ago, it was hours again, scrubbing off the glue. It was with real trepidation that I bought a new window film.But this one is brilliant. I prepped the window by cleaning it then spraying with water and fairy liquid. Then I pulled the film away from the backing sheet and started to put on. First thing better than the last one? It didn't stick to itself because it's not glue but friction. Second? It didn't permanently crease because it's a floppy plasticy/rubbery sheet, not like see through aluminium.Forty minutes later I'd put it on, cut it down to size and put on the remaining 6 inches from a second roll. So the third thing was that it really was easy to put on, even though it's a huge window.Fourth thing I noticed was that it's so pretty! The colours are beautiful and enhanced by the sun. I was using it to cover up the view of the car park and the white van actually enhances the colours because it shines the brightest.The fifth and last thing I noticed? It obscures quite well. In the middle picture there's actually a person in the car park. Cars and people are blurs and I will be happier in my bedroom when the curtains are open.I'm over the moon about this product and wish I had bought this one the first time around.

The cling blurs the outside image and although you can see vague shapes it does help create some privacy. This is a really unique alternative to a traditional frosted cling though perhaps not as opaque.
Works perfectly for us to help deter the dog from becoming obsessed with staring at passersby.

Very easy to install if you follow the instructions and looks absolutely lovely! I wanted an alternative to net curtains for privacy and this does the job. We tested it from outside at night and it doesn't completely obscure details but definitely goes a long way. I'm sat here now with a rainbow playing across the room and I couldn't be happier.

you will need , glass cleaner , a sharp craft knife , a rubber or plastic squeegee , a spray bottle filled with water.
remove the window film and cut to size , slightly larger than the glass .
now using a spray bottle with water , spray the entire window. it must be wet
now remove the backing film
and starting from the top corner , place the film against the glass , smoothing down with the squeegee, you should find the water easily runs off leaving the film in place if you have air bubbles squeegee them out , this is why using glass cleaner allows the water to disperse easier
now trim to size using a sharp craft knife .

I read the reviews and experimented with the off cuts , for best results you really need to clean your windows with a good quality glass cleaner , I washed the window then applied auto Glym glass cleaner , make sure there are no marks ,By DBS on 13 July 2022
