Well I fell in love with Dominic. I fell in love with Alec. I fell in love Kane. And you guessed it, I fell in love with Ryder. You see Ryder and Branna build they life together from the start. You see them parent their younger siblings. You see the love and loyalty shine through. You also see the start to their relationship fall apart, the pain and heartache they cause each other.
I cried a few times during this as LA makes you feel deeply what Ryder and Branna are going through. Not only them, you see how their family is affected also. Even Damien made me cry :(
This book was totally worth the wait. After seeing Ryder and Branna in this series you cannot help but feel everything they feel. Bloody great job LA. If I could give more than 5 stars I would <3

L.A. Casey always brings a fantastic mix of Humour, Drama, Romance & Hot Holy Hotness!!!!!! And has delivered another amazing read. After the ending in Aideens book I was left desperate for Ryder's book & it was totally worth the wait.
The Slater brothers saying of "I protect what is mine" has been throughout all the books but you really see this in this book from both the males & females. They are all fiercely loyal & protective of the family non more so than the mama & papa bear of this loving group. But in doing so Branna & Ryder's relationship becomes second place to the family.

Seeing them grow as a couple through the previous books & then the flashbacks in this book had me Laughing, Crying & Wanting to smack them both over the head shouting but you Love each other!!!!
All I can say is L.A. Casey I love your style of writing & will always be desperate for the next read don't even need a blurb it will still be added to my TBR list undoubtedly.

Having read the other books by this talented author, it's sad to have to say that i was absolutely unimpressed with Ryder. I feel so much could have been done with this story but the author most definitely failed to deliver.

The story left you empty and gave off a feeling of being rushed, fixated on going back "in time", where questions were raised that really weren't necessary or completely answered!! The main characters were underdeveloped and solely relied on readers remembering them from previous books to fill in the gaps.

Unfortunately it was not worth the wait and makes me less inclined to read the next book.

L A Casey never fails me!

Ever since that fateful day I one-clicked Dominic as I was perusing my Kindle store, well since then I was addicted. Every single one of the Slater boys we have received have been fresh and exciting and left me craving more! And as each book is released I start to feel sad knowing that we are one closer to the end of the series :(However I just know that L A will not leave us hanging and her future works will be just as good.

Right for the last few books we have been fed dribble of info about Branna and Ryder and their relationship issues but again not to many details of course, so we have all been dying to see what has been happening and praying it's all fixable. Come on, Branna and Ryder are the Mama and Papa of the family. Raise your hands, who wanted to punch Ryder!!! ME!!!

Again L A has given us numerous and I mean NUMEROUS laughs through this series along with the drama and action, but in this book we hit a more serious flow. For me there were definitely a few tears throughout, mainly because my heart hurt for Branna, she is the oldest, she needs to keep things bottled up to protect everyone else. Branna is dealing with huge decisions, she loves Ryder but he is hurting her (emotionally) and she hasn't been happy in a long time. Does she leave and try to be happy? She doesn't love herself and she definitely doesn't love the Ryder he currently is. I think a lot of men and women have had to make a decision like this, I personally have and it's gathering that courage to make the best decision for yourself to be happy.

I absolutely loved the flashbacks, the little snippets of her and Ryder in the early years and we see a whole different side of the story especially the relationship between Branna and Bronagh and maybe even gives us a little more understanding of Dominic's behaviour in book one!

So in Conclusion... L.A. Casey You smashed it!!!!! Give me more, I'll even beg :)

I pre-order all of LA Casey's novels because they are always the perfect mix of humour and hurt, fantasy and reality and I feel uplifted after reading them.
After the last few books I was seriously worried about Branna and Ryder. The cracks were deepening and it seemed like the love was gone. As a romance novel I expected to get to the happy ending but the journey there was fantastic!
I loved the flashbacks to the start of their relationship and their side of Nico and Bronagh's beginning. It was great to see the inner workings of the most private and reserved Slater couple.
Through the course of the book we get the history of the relationship, secrets are revealed and big Phil returns. Very inventive plot twist that I didn't expect and a seriously happy ending. As usual the other brothers play a big part in the book and added enough sweetness and fun to balance the hurt and moments of angst.
If you haven't read this series yet, give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Can't wait for the next!
