I have 2 robins that use this bird feeder every day. One is literally just over a meter away from me as I am typing this. Great for those that like to see little feathery chums.

Update:

I now have a new arrival as of April 2014 - Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Larry the great spotted woodpecker!

Update:

March 2015. Still sticking strong. Loads of birds come and visit. Love it.

living out in sticks we get lots of birds so have always fed them, but bought this for my cats. as they live indoors (busy road through village), they love to sit on the window sill and watch the birds. this has given them many happy hours, although they do keep falling off the window sill when they leap for the birds, but keeps them entertained

Does the job well. Still stuckon the window despite howling gales & magpies landing on it & starling by the 1/2 dozen!
Easy to clean as the tray lifts off the back. Great.

Our birds love this and it generates hours of entertainment for us. It can come loose from the window on very wet and windy days but other than that it's great.

Purvhased this feeder in the lightning sale at a great price. Had one before and it fell to bits due to frost damage but this model seems more sturdy. Suckers fit well to glass and middle is see through so does not obscure view from window or door used.

It was exactly as described .Its sturdy as the grey squirrel has already visited !!The overhanging flap keeps the seeds dry from rain and the birds love it

When I first set up the feeder, not a single bird used it in the first week, even though I have two nut feeders outside with various types of tits and finches steady clung to them. I tried nuts, sunflower seeds and various wild bird and robin feeds, ending up with soggy food after a few days.

Next I tried a little creativity – I stuck the feeder above our coal bunker right near a hanging feeder. By the time I walked in the house and looked out the window, there was already a tit in this feeder. Then another went in, followed by a robin and so on.

The following morning, I tried placing the feeder back on the window with a fresh tray of seed, but again not a bird all day. So I placed this feeder back next to the other feeder and kept filling it for a full week.

Finally, when I placed this feeder back on the Window, a robin flew in it and from that point on, I have a fairly steady flow of tits using it every day, mainly coal tits as if placing it above the coal bunker earlier had an influence! The robin comes now & again, but so far I haven't seen any variety of finch use it despite them regularly using the hanging nut feeders.

So for anyone else having trouble with attracting birds, I would suggest setting it up next to another feeder for a week to get the birds familiar with it or if possible, move a nut feeder near the window temporarily for a few days.

As for my rating, I would have given it a full rating if the suction cups were a little larger. They’re adequate for when the weather is fine, but the suction cups often come off the glass in wet windy weather.

Update 5th May 2015: The number of birds has continued to increase and now we often see two birds sitting side-by-side eating away.
