An excellent choice for small gigs, practising at home or jamming with friends. With a lovely 'old school' look, the cabinet is both robust and hardwearing. XLR input for plugging in your microphone and singing along (independant volume controls for the right balance of guitar and voice). Spring reverb for added depth and a retro feel as well as separate parametric-mid control for added control over middle range tones. With 3 band EQ adjust the low, mid and high tones of your sound. Headphone output for useful silent practice, jack input for CD/MP3 playalong. A good quality amp offering more punch and built-in effects making it ideal for small gigs and practising or performing with others.

The speaker itself is well made with a leatherette finish and a carrying handle on top. It seems rugged and well made. The electronics come with a 5 year guarantee and the cone with a 3 month guarantee. For me this tells you about the quality if a company is willing to give such a warranty. There are no complicated switches, buttons or inputs. There is a dedicated microphone socket, a guitar socket, bass, middle, treble controls plus a re-verb dial. It has all the inputs you need for simple operations as a cheap PA system or practice Amp. The sound as a PA is good and quite loud, although I do not seem to get the full 40W as feedback is a problem. I am working on adjustments to the speaker and radio microphone to try and get more sound without too much feedback.
Overall if you are looking for a PA speaker Amp or a guitar Amp and do not want to pay a lot of money for one, this Amp offers a great compromise of price and quality.
On the plus side, I am very happy with this little amp. I bought this just for portability and practicing.
For the low price the sound quality is excellent and compares well with my laney 65w.
I must say it is particularly good with my electro acoustic ukelele, even loud enough for small pub gigs.
The sound quality is equally as good with electro acoustic guitar bearing in mind the limitations of 10 watts.
Very well built, solid, and pleasing to look at, 6kg in weight easy to carry about.
I am more than satisfied with this amp.
It's very cheap, and that's all I was looking for. However I didn't realise with the price, it could look so fashionable and well-made. The sound is very good; the materials are firm and look more expensive than it is; the product is easily used and I couldn't believe what a bargain I got for such an amazing amp!
I'm still playing with the EQ levels to get the "perfect" sound, and trying to find the right volume balance between my guitar and voice mic, but once that is done I'm confident that I can switch sounds/tones using just the Para Mid control to suit the variety of songs I play.
All in all I'd say this is a great, cheap amp that is perfect for using at home, busking and small/medium gigs.
Admittedly, it was from Normans' some months ago when the price was even better than currently available.
It has a solid build , very reliable, so far, with the killer spring reverb - if you are turned on by that sort of thing.
I've tried it out for a range of guitars - not just acoustic - inc Tele, Harmony Statotone, Epiphone Swingster and Sheraton 2 and found the amp responsive with great sound.
