Simple. No bank of effects to jiggle with. It does have a spring reverb, to give a bit of echo. Like most guitarists, I have a few effects pedals, which I can use, if I want to make the sound different. Beautifully made cabinet and very sturdy. The power lead unplugs when not in use. This means that it can be stored inside the cabinet for transportation. Has inputs for guitar, microphone (three pin) your mp3 player and one output for headphones. Amplification is controlled from the inputs. No doubt, this is to keep manufacturing costs down. Who can blame them? The large loudspeaker means you get a broad range of sound. No tinny sound. 40 Watts, means that you could use it for a gig in a small auditorium. I can't find any negatives for this amplifier. It does exactly what I want.

I bought this speaker to use with a radio microphone. I saw it in a local specialist dealer at £159, I paid slightly less from an Amazon seller. As a side point, the seller's service was fantastic, I ordered it on Wednesday night and it arrived at 10am on Friday morning. They also sent all the tracking info and a time of delivery to me via email. A fantastic seller to deal with.

The speaker itself is well made with a leatherette finish and a carrying handle on top. It seems rugged and well made. The electronics come with a 5 year guarantee and the cone with a 3 month guarantee. For me this tells you about the quality if a company is willing to give such a warranty. There are no complicated switches, buttons or inputs. There is a dedicated microphone socket, a guitar socket, bass, middle, treble controls plus a re-verb dial. It has all the inputs you need for simple operations as a cheap PA system or practice Amp. The sound as a PA is good and quite loud, although I do not seem to get the full 40W as feedback is a problem. I am working on adjustments to the speaker and radio microphone to try and get more sound without too much feedback.

Overall if you are looking for a PA speaker Amp or a guitar Amp and do not want to pay a lot of money for one, this Amp offers a great compromise of price and quality.

Highly recommended.

Received this amp a day late, as I paid for next day delivery.
On the plus side, I am very happy with this little amp. I bought this just for portability and practicing.
For the low price the sound quality is excellent and compares well with my laney 65w.
I must say it is particularly good with my electro acoustic ukelele, even loud enough for small pub gigs.
The sound quality is equally as good with electro acoustic guitar bearing in mind the limitations of 10 watts.
Very well built, solid, and pleasing to look at, 6kg in weight easy to carry about.
I am more than satisfied with this amp.

Works great with my Lindo electro-acoustic guitar and I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap amp that works amazing with the sound that's produced.
It's very cheap, and that's all I was looking for. However I didn't realise with the price, it could look so fashionable and well-made. The sound is very good; the materials are firm and look more expensive than it is; the product is easily used and I couldn't believe what a bargain I got for such an amazing amp!

Only used once so far for a few minutes to test; but assuming it continues to work this well; is great for guitar & mic together and the echo facility hides my vocal limitations somewhat. Good power output too.

I bought this amp specifically for open mic nights as I couldn't get the sound I wanted going through the PA. I haven't tried it live yet, as it arrived in between nights, but giving it a good blast at home leaves me in no doubt that it'll cope with the large(ish) pub I play in.
I'm still playing with the EQ levels to get the "perfect" sound, and trying to find the right volume balance between my guitar and voice mic, but once that is done I'm confident that I can switch sounds/tones using just the Para Mid control to suit the variety of songs I play.
All in all I'd say this is a great, cheap amp that is perfect for using at home, busking and small/medium gigs.

I was so impressed I bought it twice!
Admittedly, it was from Normans' some months ago when the price was even better than currently available.

It has a solid build , very reliable, so far, with the killer spring reverb - if you are turned on by that sort of thing.

I've tried it out for a range of guitars - not just acoustic - inc Tele, Harmony Statotone, Epiphone Swingster and Sheraton 2 and found the amp responsive with great sound.

The amp is £120 retail price on many other sites but I came to amazon in hope of finding a cheaper one and for the amazing price of £65! The amp is brilliant, good quality and I must stress how much of a great deal it is for such a low price. I highly recommend this amp for beginners, its a great amp in itself; but the price is definitely the icing on the cake! Don't hesitate to buy!
