About the Author
Lucy Halsall, now Lucy Chamberlain, is Head Gardener at East Donyland Hall, a dream job for her as it has an incredibly productive walled kitchen garden. Before this, she worked at the RHS Garden Wisley and as editor at Grow Your Own magazine. Lucy was raised on her family's smallholding and has been cultivating salads and vegetables since her teenage years. Lucy describes her own vegetable plot as a walled edible garden in miniature which keeps her and her husband self-sufficient in produce all year round.

Lots of stuff like how to prep the ground, what to plant and when, some suggested plantings for different households.
I particularly like the suggested varieties for each veg so you pick what you like and not what the writer thinks you should be growing.
It doesn't assume you know what they are talking about and explains stuff simply and in a practical manner.
a very good, sensible, reasonable book
Brilliant book, love it!
It sets out how to set up a small garden allotment or big. Every kind of veg and fruit you can think of. But most of all idiot prove
instructions and if I can grow something then you can. Great book.
