This is a very good book for beginner gardeners. For those with more experience it is a little too basic. It is clearly written.

Bought this as a gift but have ordered another for myself. Just what I need to help me identify and grow plants and flowers. Clear and concise, tells you when and where to plant and how to look after them - for the amateur gardener.

Really useful book, good information well laid out with lovely photos. I'm trying to grow my own wedding flowers. Only key thing missing for me which is inportant is a simple table on when to sow, time to flower and flowering time.

I had spent ages looking for a clear and concise book that helped me, a new gardener, with information on how to care for my plants. Well set out and written with humour this is a book that I would thoroughly recommend.
