Punching bags and training with pads has never felt this good! RDX®'s authentic full-grain cowhide leather Gel-Tech Muay-Thai Kick-Boxing Gloves are resilient, durable and long lasting. Shell-Shock gel infused Tetra-padding provides enhanced shock absorption thanks to gel EFFICAX LINING between each slab of padding. CoolX mesh on palm side and specially perforated inner thumb ensures ventilation and hand-breathability, wicking moisture away from the skin. Wraparound Quick-EZ Velcro closure gives ample support to the wrist by comfortably holding it in place and providing snug fit.

Note, if you have large/big hands then these RDX gloves might feel somewhat tight and compact - maybe too tight for your likimg. Personally, I love the fit (12oz) and my hands are pretty average sized.
I wrote team RDX about the weight issue, which really isn't an issue, as these gloves weigh about 15.7 oz in total. You have to remember that the indicated weight on the gloves (e.g. 12oz) isn't the total weight - it's just the weight of the padding inside the gloves. This varies from brand to brand. My pair of Adidas weigh in at total 12 oz and they are 12 oz gloves. Even though the RDX is close to 16 oz in total weight they don't feel heavy at all thanks to their fit and how the weight is distributed throughout the gloves.
RDX were also completely unwilling to help me, as I called once, to be told to email customer support, which I did, only to never be answered.
While using, I would've recommended these gloves, definitely on the more firm side of the spectrum, an all round solid training glove, however the company really lets down the product, sadly, would not buy again.
I have been though a lot of gloves in my time including the Everlast Min range ones and this seems better in my opinion. The only downside is the excessive rubbing of the last finger (pinky) as its always sore and a bit damaged after sparing or on pads.
