I received this today and have already tuned two of my guitars. Whilst I do have a tuner on one of my pedals, I wanted something that would fit in my pocket and/or keep in the sitting room to tune my accoustic when need be. I got this for £8.99 and I cannot fault it at all. It comes with some bits of paper which I assume are the instructions but I have not needed to look at them as the tuner is so straight forward to use. It comes with batteries and therefore I was able to tune straight out of the box. I had the tuner about a foot away from my accoustic and it tuned it perfectly. There is a lead socket on the side to allow for the tuning of electric guitars. This is a bargain and I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a basic tuner that does the job. It also has a 'Tone' button which plays the pitch of the note so you can compare it to the note on the guitar just to be sure it is tuned correctly. The pitch is quite loud when it plays the tone so keep it away from dogs. It also allows for you to find chords but I will probably not bother with this aspect although it is a nice addition. In summary, get this if you are looking for a small and convenient tuner.

Hi, I've only just started to learn how to play guitar, and obviously am not too hot on tuning up yet! I bought this without even previously having had a tuner in my hand , ever! This little gadget is a god send. You just switch it on pluck the string and it automatically finds the right note. There is a little arm on a pendulum that swings back and forth, you keep tuning until the arm is in the middle and the green light comes on to let you know that you have optimised tuning! so simple! It also does a bunch of other things too, that I haven't explored yet, such as it will tell you if you are playing the right chord! Get one, it really is worth a few quid! Hope this helps!

I've just received this guitar tuner and for £12.50 (including postage and packaging) this is brilliant! It's simple to use and you have 250 chords that is searchable with this tuner as well.

The only disadvantage of the chord finder is you have to go through the whole chords before you find the one you want. But this doesn't bother me because I can use the Internet to find chords.

I would definitely recommend this guitar tuner if you're tight on budget.

A great tuner no doubt. Cheap and does the job- Almost. Got 250 chords or whatever, great i guess. Useful for newbies. I wanted today to tune my guitar to drop D and guess what, realised this tuner was only made for standard tuning. Bummer, now i need to buy another one. Wouldnt hesitate to recomend this- If you only play in standard tuning.

Excellent product, turn on and go...I can not play one note YET, but tuning my guitar was so easy. If left light comes on you turn to the left....if right light comes on you turn to the right...until green light in the middle is the only light coming up....

Delivery was quick and easy. Thank you.

Very impressed by this product. Bought it cause it was cheap and the reviews were good. Turns out it works well as a tuner and is fairly easy to use. Haven't used its other functionality much, and can't really see when or why I would (if you're using it to teach you chords you are going about it the wrong way).

If you're looking for a comprehensive gadget, then this is the one for you. The TUNER is quite good, I've seen better, but for the money, I'm happy with it. The CHORD FINDER is alright, but you have to scroll through until you find the Chord you want, that's OK for me. PITCH PIPE is a bit loud and piercing, but I probably won't use this much.
All in all, it's a very useful piece of equipment for a beginner, or a teacher, who is trying to show the pupil what these different aspects of the guitar are and what they do. For the money it's a must have gadget. 9/10

I bought this tuner for my daughter who has started to learn guitar. I have absolutely no musical skills whatsoever, so I was using a phone tuner to try and tune her guitars for her, problem was I had no idea whether I was supposed to loosen or tighten the strings. Not a problem with this tuner, it tells you which way to go. I managed to tune her acoustic in less than 5 minutes and her electric was even easier. This tuner could not be easier, even I could use it.
