Format: Paperback
A very beautiful book. The characters are portrayed with care and vast insight in human relations. For a westener like me, it was very interesting to read this book because of the ways Kenzaburo Oe writes about everyday japanese life. You get a taste of another culture (if you're not japanese). But most importantly; the story is touching and well told. One of the best books I have ever read!
