Arrived promptly. Its a textbook for a second level OU course. It seems useful in providing background inforemation for a third level course I am currently doing with the OU - SM358 The Quantum World.

This book is a great reference for degree physicists or even A-level, however if you are reading out of interest I recommend going for Quantum Physics: An Introduction first. It will tax your brain, but you will get so much more understanding than simply reading a pop-science book on the subject, and that's ultimately far more rewarding.

An excellently prepared textbook as is expected from this publisher. The exercises are very good but I personally would have liked a little more mathematics.
