The stand out episodes though are indeed the Lee Harvey Oswald episode, that opens the season with Sam leaping into different aspects of his life and finding a strong residue of Oswald that Sam can't control and the brilliant Trilogy (possibly the best in the whole history of Quantum along with the Leap Home,) where find Sam entering the life of Abigail over 3 episodes as the claims of murder follow her through the decades an absolute must see. There is also fun in watching Scott Bakula impersonate, and nearly ruin the career of Elvis. As a stage and musical actor for Scott this must have been a dream come true, almost like being rep, playing a different character every week (unlike Dr Who who uses a different actor, Scott has to do it all himself)
But for many of Quantum fans it is the final episode, the final leap, that is the most poignant. Meeting some of the people he had "rescued" during his years of leaping, it is hard to say this is a fitting finale for Sam as it left open many questions the producers seemed to want to leave unanswered, or potential for other stories later, nonetheless the final series is a must for all fans or casual viewers as the journey of Sam and Al comes to an end.And as the old adage of Leaving them wanting for more, more than meets that criteria, and that at least is not a spoiler.
