The recommended PSU rating for my build (according to PC Parts) was 350 watts, which seemed very low to me. I thought I might build in a little extra headroom for future upgrades, so I looked for a 500 watt model, edging towards Corsair. But thanks to the (at the time of writing) pandemic lockdown, it seemed like everyone else had the same idea! This was the only reasonably priced PSU of any sort that I could get, so it wasn't exactly my first choice.
Having said that I'm extremely happy with my purchase. It is VERY quiet. I cannot hear it above the noise of my case and CPU fans, and I have had no problems one week into my build.
Being a non-modular design, you may be concerned about cable management. I'm not, and I leave all my cables free inside the case, but I don't think you'd have any problems if that's your thing. The cables and connectors all worked as expected and seemed to be quite high quality.
So, not what I was initially looking for, but turned out to be a great purchase.
