seems to be what I want so thank you. I have not read it to the end or used any of the advice but I do not have any doubt it is a good guide.

Covers the basics clearly, but lacks any in-depth insite

This book is a very good insight on QR codes. It is written in plain English describing different ways you can use them and implement them into your organisation (or personal use). I would recommend this to anyone who is either curious about QR codes or looking at a different way to market their business.

I have been a fan of the Dummies series for years and I recently started doing more SEO/ORM/ and online marketing for a start up I work for. I bought the book to help me understand more in depth about QR codes and how to best place/market them on materials we send out. To be honest the book is well written and gives you a great outline. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because you can find all this information online for free. I'm a person that likes to read hard copies of materials so I bought this for that reason. If you know nothing about QR codes or how to market them then please by all means buy this book. But if your a computer research junkie then just search and read through several QR and entrepreneur sites for tips and tricks.
