    Bare wired to Cambridge Audio CXA60 amplifier and Monitor Audio Silver 100 speakers gives me excellent sound reproduction. Cable insulation is both extremely tough and durable but at the same time very flexible so very easy to install and conceal.

    I'm afraid I'm not a total Hi-Fi geek so I can't go into the minutiae of the quality of these versus other leads however I find them to be excellent. I have 40m of this cable hidden above the ceiling spanning my QAcoustics 2000 series Dolby 5.1 setup to a Harman Kardon AVR 171 amp. If I could have one quibble it's that the polarity of the cables is not marked but I figured this out by connecting a 9v battery to one end of each of my five cables and an LED to the other. With the LED lit, the longer leg identifies the positive line which I then marked with a permanent marker.

The system has been is use for a couple of years now and has been excellent. I have a Yamaha amp with a What Hi-Fi Magazine recommended Jamo speaker system. The sound is awesome and some of that praise must be because of the quality of the cables so you can buy with confidence.

    Decent enough cable, but it's core is very thick, if you've got an older hifi, especially a micro system with sprung loaded speaker clips, you may find them too small to take this size wire, as I did. I had to return this wire and buy the 42 strand core instead.
