A good way to get started
on 4 November 2014
Python is one of the preferred languages for college to introduce students to programming. It is easy to learn and to work with. The book covers the history and benefits on the first chapter but the real fun start at chapter two when the author guides you into setting up your development environment and you get your first taste of an IDE and the command line.
The method of teaching is good, you start with the right structure, meaning the indentation to make your code not only work but be readable, and the the basic building blocks, variables, strings, conditionals and more.
