Wasgij is the original brainteaser jigsaw puzzle. Puzzlers have to use their imagination to piece together a "solution" to the illustration.

For decades, Jan van Haasteren has created highly detailed, colourful and noticeably humorous illustrations exclusively for Jumbo - and 2019 is no exception!

Most of Jan's fans will immediately search for his comedic signature traits - the sharks fin - that is featured in every single one of his jigsaw puzzles. But you can also look out for some of his other favourites such as; Saint Nicholas, the hands, the dentures and Jan's self-portrait which can be found in nearly all of his illustrations.
