I love to read (a lot) and I discovered Brooke Cumberland a few weeks back and now I'm hooked. This book was amazing, it was emotional, sad, happy, hot, sexy and in parts funny. It was so hard to put down that I didn't. The characters were great especially Aspen, Morgan and Natalia, also the story line was both heart breaking and inspiring and just brilliant really. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to get their teeth into a good book. I can't wait to read more from Brooke.

I enjoyed this read from Brooke I couldn't wait for PTL to be released.

NO SPOILERS

Reading this story will make you feel so many emotions. Aspen an art lover something she does to relay her emotions of a deep hurt she feels and can't deal with and she can't share this pain with anyone not even her family.

Morgan (I can him Mr McDreamy) has his own scars which need to heal and like any other guy they just don't know how to process hurt anger & betrayal there's no output for him to go to.

But as teacher & student and art lovers can they brush out all the emotions that needs to be released.....

I felt sad happy tearful broken and put back together after reading this.

Brooke We Love You ❤️

Amo xx

This book is truly beautiful the love between the 2 main characters takes it's time to start which makes it a more true love.
Aspen lost her twin sister 6 yrs ago in an accident and has felt a huge amount guilt since, she suffers from anxiety attacks and never lets anyone into her bubble
All she does is spend time with her friends, paints, drinks and enjoys her 1 night stands
Morgan caught his fiancée and brother in bed together 5yrs ago and left town never to return.....until his brother passed away and he was left to raise his 11yr old niece, he then moves back home, gets a job at the college as a professor and meets Aspen......
Morgan and Aspen together make sparks fly and make you believe that true love is really out there for us all xx

Wow what a fantatsic story with great charcters that I became invested in. Aspen and Morgan are both stuggling to accept their pasts, you can understand the pain they feel both for very different reasons. My only disappointment I have is that we neve get her father or brother's feelings on what happened but it didn't spoil the hook for me in any way.

a trashy book with no story and overly emotional characters. it lacked any kind of substance or anything that you could take away from it.

If you have read any of my previous reviews, you may have noticed that I am a huge student/teacher romance fan. They seem to be the books I lean towards and I have read..ALOT!!

I enjoyed Pushing the Limits, I knew I would just from reading the synopsis. The only reason I didn't give PTL 5 stars was because, it's not like most forbidden romance novels I have read. Even though Morgan is Aspen's professor and 10 years older than her. It doesn't come across forbidden. There isn't much fear of being caught and feeling on edge. Although there is a moment where Aspen gets threatened with losing her scholarship and Morgan's aunt is on the council, no one seems to care that they are a couple. Which I found sort of odd. I mean surely they would tread more carefully, if they are at risk of losing their potential futures. But what can I say, love makes you do crazy things.

Aspen lost her twin sister Ariel 6 years ago. Her relationship with her parents is strained and the only way Aspen exposes her pain is through painting. Suffering with anxiety attacks and having no strings hookups with random men, Aspen feels like she is drowning.

Morgan knows all about pain. After losing his brother Ryan 6 months ago and raising his niece, Morgan moves back home after being away for 5 years. Unlike Aspen, he isn't able to paint anymore, whilst trying to deal with the guilt he carries with him daily, Morgan takes a teaching job as an art professor.

intrigued with Aspen's talent and the way she can express herself through her art. Morgan and Aspen begin to share their secrets and confide in each other, bringing them closer together than a student/teacher relationship should be. But they can't resist the pull they feel when together. With a few bumps along the way, Morgan and Aspen soon realise that they are what each other needs to heal.

Thoroughly enjoyed PTL and recommend it to anyone who loves a forbidden romance.

Oh my!!! What a fab story!!! Not just your run of the mill teacher/student story!!!! I fell in love both with Aspen and Morgan!!! A brilliant story which kept me on my toes!!!

Aspen is an aspiring artist who lets her emotions out in her painting. She is feisty and like everyone else has secrets... Her idea of a night out is get drunk bring a guy home, have her way and kick him out before dawn!!! Until she meets this sexy humdinger of a guy in her evening art class... However she is a bit annoyed, embarrassed and upset when he stands up and walks to the front of the class ans introduces himself as the tutor.

Morgan is an art teacher who hasn't painted for 5 years when he left town after breakup and has been back to his home town for the last 6 months to be sole guardian to his 11 year old niece after his brother died. He starts looking at his students work before semester starts so he can get an idea of who his students are. He looks at one student's work and requests the full portfolio of work and he is in awe of such a person being capable of being so talented (this is obviously Aspen).

This is a fab five star book with many twists and turns and very hot and steamy in parts

N.B. I do have caution some readers that this book contains content which may cause triggers.
