If you have ever wondered what a Wren running a boot camp would be like, then you'll enjoy reading about Sar'nt Troggers, and you'll never look at a bunch of sparrows the same way again!
The power of the HhhuuuuUUUTTT is real and it's never to late to learn the importance of overcoming the Badhbh between the ears.
For me, this book masquerades as a 'children's' book, and for the most part I would say, is perfect for younger ones (if you did chose to read it aloud to children, you may want to sensor the parrot's first word....!), but there is a plethora of adult humour, 'in jokes' referencing modern culture and very clever twists and play on words that are just exceptional to read. A book for the inner child this one...Loved It.
Ultimately, this is a story about the countless acts of love and encouragement from friends and strangers that pave the way to success. In this cynical world, that’s a treasure worth embracing.
Wifey speaking now: I'm useless at reviews - best I can say is buy it and read it, read it with your kids, your grandkids, your grandma and grandpa. It'll appeal to all ages from 11 to 111 This book really is like no other, it's a book about friendship, fortitude and finding a way home.
