About the Author

Jenn Thorson always knew she wanted to be a writer; it was the C+ in Penmanship that initially held her back. By the age of 11, she'd written her first mystery novel, Key to the Blue Moon, which her secretary— er, Mom—was good enough to type up for her. It was a raging hit among the two people she knew. Spurred by her dramatic success, she went on to write other works, an experience that found her cluing into the Mystery genre, flirting with the Melodramatic Teen style, and becoming better versed in the Embarrassing Poetry of Which We Shall Never Speak Again school of writing. Yet, oddly, no one stopped her from attending Carnegie Mellon University for Creative and Professional Writing. And it was here she discovered that humor was in her heart. This was a surprise, since the funny bone usually gets so much press. Soon Jenn graduated from Carnegie Mellon and, with an inconvenient bent toward eating regularly, she took a job as a technical writer for a software development company. In the years that followed, she would move from the joys of explaining where the File menu was, to managing the marketing of the company's product line. Marketing, she realized, involved a gleeful combination of Making Stuff Up and Actually Getting Paid for It; so she became a full-time marketing writer and project manager in a local advertising firm. She also continued to hone her fiction, and her first published story, "The Last Great Play of Rosie Cosnowski" made its way into the Timber Creek Review. Since those days, Jenn Thorson's stories have been published in the Humor Press, the magazine for the Lewis Carroll Society of North America, and Romantic Homes magazine. Her books currently include There Goes the Galaxy, The Purloined Number and Tryfling Matters.

Jenn Thorson, come back soon! Fantastic fun, beautiful imagination, dialogues are a stonking delight. I read all 3 books in a row, and I did not want it to end. I am barely refraining from going straight back to the beginning and re-reading them. I miss all the characters - some of them deliciously fantastical. Best read I have had a in long time.

I enjoyed the first book just enough to buy the second when looking for a low stress read, and found this much better than the first book, felt like the author was more confident so the pacing was better

Having read the first book in this trilogy it leaves you wanting more.....and so here it is. Bertram and his Rollie err I mean roller coaster ride through out the galaxy. I wont be including an in depth review as if you've already read the first book you won't want any spoilers so dive in and continue this whacky journey that's going somewhere.....but where ?.

A brilliant (if at some times confusing) second edition in this great series by Jenn Thorson.
Who'd would have thought the loss of such a simple thing would cause so much havoc!!
I recommend reading "There Goes The Galaxy" before this one.

This story is really wort getting your teeth into, an entertaining trip through the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy format with goofy characters galore and inventive scenarios. Rollie throws in some englishisms to make it familiar to brits.

I really enjoyed this book, and it's the one that came before, "There goes the Galaxy"
Jenn Thorson writes in a very amusing style, which rather reminded me of Douglas Adams.
I hope there will be more !

this one is a vast improvement over it's predecessor as there are only one or two product/character description chapters/sections and gets right down to the story making it a much better read overall.
