The Pure Fitness & Sports Exercise Bike hosts a variety of great features for the price, it uses a 7kg balanced flywheel to ensure users have a completely smooth cycling motion when exercising for enjoyable workouts. The MCL800 bike has 16 different levels of magnetic resistance that become increasingly difficult, gradually increasing these levels as you become fitter will help keep your workouts just as beneficial and intense as the previous one.The bike also has 12 pre-installed programmes with various workouts to target fat loss and simulate hill training, taking full advantage of these programmes will help maintain a high level of motivation as they vary your training to keep it interesting. The MCL800 is designed to accommodate a vast range of users, it has a large user capacity of 18.8 stone and the large cushioned seat pad can be adjusted both horizontal and vertical so that everybody can find their optimum comfort position. Regular training on the MCL800 for a least 3 times a week will massively aid in the reduction of fat loss and will also tone and strength your leg muscles, exercise bikes are particularly beneficial as they're so low impact they don't apply barely any pressure to your joints unlike running. The Benefits of an Exercise BikeCycling is a very low impact form of exercise so it doesn't put any pressure or strain on your knees, hips or ankles which makes bikes an attractive option for rehabilitation purposes, the elderly and anyone who suffers from joint or ligament problems. With cycling been a weight bearing exercise it helps to strengthen bones and keeps your joints, tendons and ligaments flexible. Regular exercise on a bike has also been proven to help increase your lung capacity and metabolism (burn fat at a quicker rate) and decrease the risk of osteoporosis, high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes.

Heart Rate Control Program
Heart rate control is essentially keeping your heart rate at a specific level and maintaining it. Working at different heart rates can dictate whether you burn fat or improve fitness for sports depending on the level. Once you've set your desired rate the bike will automatically adjust the resistance throughout the workout to maintain your heart rate level.
User Friendly and Functional
Keeping the results coming
The MCL800 is easily capable of constantly pushing the boundaries of your fitness. As you start to familiarise your legs with regular exercise the 16 resistance levels make sure things don't get too easy to keep progress, and keep results coming.
You can accurately monitor your progress too by using the 'recovery' feature; this simply monitors the recovery time of your heart rate after a workout for 1 minute and then grades you from 1-6.
Programs for stimulation
A change in your cycling workout is not just useful for stimulating your mental state, your muscles like to be stimulated by change too. If things start to feel a bit stagnant then fire up one of the 12 programs for some variety. Each program serves a unique purpose from fat burn target to improving endurance, or rolling hills to interval training.
Build Quality and Components
Why concern yourself looking at the flywheel weight? Well it plays a significant role in the overall feel (smooth or jerky) and operation (quiet or loud) of the bike. The heavier the flywheel the smoother and quieter the feel. In general, the hefty 7kg flywheel on the MCL800 is more than enough to guarantee both of these important qualities.
The framework and construction
The downside to not physically seeing and trying bikes is that it's hard to grasp how solid and robust it feels--but it's such a critical factor. To reassure you the MCL800 has been independently tested and rated to take 18.8 stone users, this requires a certain standard of construction. These standards are met by ensuring each piece of solid steel is welded to precision and then tested rigorously for weak points for both safety and solidity.

Assembly and Transport
Concern about assembling fitness equipment is a frequent issue. All the necessary tools for assembly have also been included, you have absolutely everything you need to jump on and cycle once it's built.

Didn't want a cheap bike but didn't want an over expensive one either so this one was just the right price and it is worth every penny.
Easy to assemble and doesn't take up much room....
Has 12 settings, I'm on number 4 at the moment and after 30 minutes the sweats dripping off me lol that's how fit I am.....
For anyone who is serious about getting fit this bike is the one for you...
My only criticism ( and my husband says the same) is that the saddle is very wide and after about 15 miutes or so of using the machine, it really makes your coccyx and lower spine ache.
The instructions indicate item 72 the 'Pulse Sensor' is a single connection but in fact is two; it would be extremely helpful to colour code these to ensure that they cannot be inadvertantly connected up incorrectly.
