The Three Little Pigs. Humpty Dumpty. Little Bo Peep. Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Thanks to the folks at Puffin, these time-tested favourites (and dozens more) can all be enjoyed in a single, handsomely illustrated volume. Pass on tradition by treating your child to some of the best rhymes and stories in the English language--"Old MacDonald had a Farm," "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" and "Pop Goes the Weasel"--plus newer works such as Eric Hill's delightful "Spot's First Picnic" and Dennis Lee's bedtime "Good Night, Good Night."
Artwork from the likes of Edward Lear, Penny Ives, Beatrix Potter and others make this volume extra special. Both you and your child will revel in Mary McQuillan's bright and silly accompaniments to "The Three Monkeys" and "Pussy-cat, Pussy-cat," along with Shirley Hughes' brimming-with-nostalgia seaside portraits and Nick Sharrat's brightly-coloured array of spiders and the spouts they emerge from. With such enticing drawings, no child will be able to resist joining in with "Pat-a-Cake, Pat-a-Cake," "Little Jack Horner," and "Jack and Jill."
Rather than reading it from cover to cover, The Puffin Baby and Toddler Treasury is meant for picking and choosing. Make a beeline for your favourites, then go from there. You're not likely to go wrong.

This book will surely become a treasured book to keep throughout their lives.
Also good for parents who don't remember the rhymes!
I'm really pleased with my purchase. It has a good variety of stories of differing lengths, so hopefully it will grow with her as she gets bigger. The pages are colourful with lots of pictures designed to appeal to children. There are also numerous rhymes throughout the book.
I agree with the comments about this making a great gift - I have a friend who is pregnant and will get her a copy so she can enjoy this with her baby.
Overall, a really good purchase
What can I say - it's birlliant!!
