This is a great thriller with a female character Jana Baker whom you can't help but root for. It is totally gripping. If you like authors such as Tom Clancy and Lee Child you will really like this book. I read all their books too.
I have read the 3 previous thrillers written by Nathan Goodman and have enjoyed them all. Recommended.

If you first met Jana Baker , the kick ass special agent in Protocol 14, you will definitely want to read this stunning prequel to learn how Jana's F.B.I. career began. Or start this riveting new series from the beginning with Protocol One and add unputdownable to your dictionary.

Having read all this books I was intrigued as to how Agent Baker started her career, Nathan has managed this with great style, both in the storyline and the writing. His characters are both strong and believable. I look forward to the next instalment... p.s. If you like Clive Cussler or Alister Maclean type books I think you'll like these.

Once again another brilliant story. I have read Protocol 14 and Protocol 15 but must confess I would have liked to have read Protocol One first. It explains how Janna became the agent she is. This book gives the reader an insight to the character she is. A few red herrings caught me out (sneaky Mr G!) As usual a great storyline

I now understand where Jana got her grit and determination from. This could be a stand alone work, but I urge all to read it who have enjoyed the other Protocol books.

It was good to learn about Jana's introduction to the firm. I am sure other readers will warm to her as I did. Looking forward to reading more.
